Sangeeta is among A very few actresses including TV and Bollwood movies,who emote with her eyes...she could be just standing still.but her eyes, and body language speak volumes...her skills remind me of farida jalal and kajol...such natural actresses...same mischief and emotions in eyes,as the scene demands...actors like her are few to come by...it's uncontrollable and sad
(professionally ) that she is getting older ...they don't write scripts for older actors that deserve their merit...they make them bhabhis or mothers...sheer waste of talent...unless Madhuri and Juhi combination bring a new revolution , and writers wake up and and start writing for actors like Sangeeta and her comteporaries...be it TV or bollywood ...she is undoubtly,undisputedly and naturally beautiful ...looks good even with less make up , simply dressed...
Watching her on raw footage,I feel she is a typical Leo...I say so because I have a house full of Leos...extrovert ,sense of humour,love for attention,dramatics,food,independence...huge temper and highly emotionally charged...now it is amazing how she beautifully transforms herself into Saachi who is so unlike her in many ways...I am sure she as Sangeeta must be annoyed with pathetic and paranoid Saachi at times...
Her portrayal as Saachi is par excellence...she makes you feel every emotion that Saachi feels...you feel that there is a real existing Saachi in front of you,not a factious character of a play...Sangeeta is so deep into this character that it has ( to me ) become Saachi is Sangeeta ,and Sangeeta is Saachi...
Frankly speaking , I got into watching this play because of Sangeeta ...my daughters who watch only American TV ( we live in states ) love to watch it with me because of her...
Saachi / Sangeeta is the complex ,central, heart and soul of JLZ ...and critically speaking, she is making it's heart beat rhythmically and sweetly...hats off to Sangeeta !
