Our heartless, unaffected, man carved from stone, doesn't realize how this tiny, helpless, wisp of a girl has started getting under his skin. Her first words, had him skidding to a surprised halt. Huh..she...can talk?? Not talk...answer back?? Without trembling, without getting intimidated, she not only answered him back, but actually abused him😆!! Gave him more than he had ever bargained for!! Called him names, with full conviction, that probably no one had ever dared call him (not on his face) 😛!!Err..and how unaffected is the man with a mission? He remembers all four of the juicy adjectives she used for him😆! She said them in an off hand way. But the epithets she honored him with, were etched in his memory. Just catch him repeat them, word to word, just a few seconds later. And watch his incensed reaction at each. He was like..how dare she ..think so lowly of me?? How can she think so bad of me?!!😡 Ok...babes...just wait n watch..now how I prove you right...you calling me bad...you haven't seen bad yet?? Kindergarten...anyone?😃
Yes, I know he is doing his duty. But, whatever the reason, he has started watching her like a hawk. Don't tell me he needs to keep an unblinking eye on her even when he is eating...a few seconds while you eat?? She is right next door, constantly under your very eyes, quit it man, she won't disappear in thin air. Or are you aware, at the back of your mind, that while you are trying to slowly swallow some food, she has had none. Is that somewhere biting your conscience? What does she mumble, what does she touch? What does she do when she is distraught? What does she want and need? Her safety, her security, the danger she is in. He stands there, like a wall, not letting anything touch the girl. I realize for him its all in a day's work but somehow the man is getting too caught up with this petite lass. I can bet he hasn't done the same for any other femme fatale. Me thinks he is piecing together the puzzle called Paro.
He is so aware of her. She is constantly on his mind now. Her every tear, her every breath, her slightest movement, her tiniest flutter, her hunger, thirst, pain, exhaustion...nothing..nothing escapes him now. And yet its only just his first awareness of her...
And she got under his skin so bad that he had to find some relief. Not Paro, but Rudra needed to escape. The only reason Rudra fled to Laila, took refuge with her, was Paro. He had to get her out of his system, flush the heady toxin out and so he rushed, desperate enough to forget even his physical pain...if only he could figure out what was bothering him so!! The poor guy ends up getting more flustered as every action and dialogue seems to remind him of the lady in custody. (I could hear in the background...this part of the roll in the hay was sponsored by Paro Bai Sa...Hamesha Aapke Saath!!)
Of course Rudra, you are a man of steel, with a dash of kryptonite at that...nothing can break your tough skin...but somehow...a one village girl, totally vulnerable, wraith like, quiet and tearful, today got under your skin...
