even i searched alot after posting this video 😆 details added on first page but truly speaking i don't believe the western authors till i get them check with the local authors of that time 😃 because they distorted the history alot not all but in many cases 😳

All this issue would not be there had Jehangir who built that tomb which is supposedly called Anarkali tomb written the name of person buried there. I am not sure if historians have serached for any name on that tomb about who is really buried there or it may be that marble on which name was carved has been destroyed or stolen etc. People guess it is anrkali's tomb because jehangir had written verses there and signed it as majnun salim, son of akbar. But he may have done it for a wife too whom he loved very much? But there is no way to prove if its anraklai or jehangir's wife buried there we can only speculate. Only Jehangir can answer who is buried there in the tomb?

Regarding Anarkali being Akbar's wife, i am not sure an emperor like Akbar would marry a courtesean dancer given his status and position. And Daniyal was 3 years younger to Jehangir, so Anarkali will be atleast 15 years of age and above before she gives birth to daniyal. Why will salim fall in love with his step mother who is like anywhere between 12-20 years elder to him? And that too Daniyal was brought up by Mariyam zamani in her palace and amer. So Jehnagir will be close to him why he risk offending his father, brother and family. So this is just a figment of imagination of some person that is it that anarkali was daniyal's mother and jehangir step mother

And in those days mothers/step mothers were respected a lot. Its not like 21st century where you majorly take mothers words for granted and mothers are like buddies. In those days there was distinct difference in how you could treat/behave with mothers/fathers. So jehangir would dare not exceed his limits and face social boycotts for that if not be beheaded for affair with step mom. So Anarkali being Salim's step mom and Salim having affair with step mom is a definite imagination story to defame Mughals.

Lastly history is usually written by winners. Aurangzeb was a fanatic and would have definetly tried and changed the content of his family's autobiography to show them in bad light and himself as good. And the British had 90 years of free rule in which they also had ample time to spread gossip/rumors about their enemies(read Mughals) and rewrite history as they want to show their opponents in bad light. So all these stories must be some kind of agenda to distort history to make defeated look bad and themselves good. This they did not only to Mughals, even Tipu Sultan, tatya tope etc whoever opposed British rule and fought them were shown as barbarians and fanatics and cruel only.

And the thing about us indians we too easily belive all this. If you visit europe Germany, France etc they take so much pride in their country, past, culture, language. But we indians just follow the syllabus made by British in schools/colleges, their laws etc without change for past 150 years. So if you see indian history all those who fought for freedom in 1857 are either not given importance or are depicted as fighting for their own benefits(to retain their kingdom) and those kings/people who supported british against their own country are all praised.

But if you read 11th century till 17th century British history you can see that they were in dark ages and had grave punishments given like burning of women calling them witches(Joan of arc is one such example), cruel punishment like beheading, killing on stakes etc showing opponents like napolean as despots(which he was not) etc. So Asia especially india was much forward to British in laws, administration, postal reforms, dress etc than Britsih in till 17-18the century. Its a misconception that west was modern and asians/africans etc were medieval brutes and ignorant people till British came and occupied and gave modern rail, road, postal etc. Many of these systems British copied from asian countries like india, china, persia and roman empire etc and said they only invented it.

So all these stories also may be such a propoganda only.
