I would go for a combination of 4 and 3.

The CV's should not suddenly give its devoted audience a shock but initially adjust the story as per actor's availability and gradually based on his decision replace the actor. Personally, it was a big shock for me to see my Anandi getting replaced all of a sudden and it took time for me to adjust to the new one.

Why should the show shut down? BV is a big revenue grosser for its producers,with new markets opening up every now and then, much loved and watched show, generating employment for so many people. One actor leaving does not have significant impact though he or she would be missed for some time, no body is indispensable in any industry, sorry if I sound harsh but that's the fact.

This show is anyways taking a leap in june...How does it matter? Even Shanky might quit around that time. CVs will definitely NOT end the show whatever be the case. The fact remains that BV is their highest rated daily, they wouldn't take the risk of shutting it now.

There are 98 % chances of this leap happening and now with Sid's uncertain future in BV, we can pretty much take that to 100 %...
