Salman was always Bigger Star at BO than SRK: KoiMoi

Though, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ran for much longer than the former, HAHK in its heydays earned a little over 69 crores when it released way back in 1994. After adjusting the inflation and the valuation of INR, the film's box office income comes to an unimaginable 354 crores. So even if Salman enters the 300 crore club with Jai Ho, it won't be anything new for him as the actor has been the king of box office on and off.

While many argue that Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was a bigger hit, the film that had earned a whopping 61 crores in those days has been valued at a little over 301 crores after adjusting inflation.

Salman's box office win was prevalent since his early days. Surprisingly even Maine Pyaar Kiya had made 14 crores in its times which was mesmeric given the era in which it was released where the cine goers were fewer and theaters were fewer in number.

So all the Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan fans who have the row over who will make 300 crores faster, the answer is - they both have already made 300 crores respectively. Salman just won by a wider margin coz the Baadshah reigns the heart and Dabangg makes sparks fly at the box office.
