TaaRey FF : Love redefined.
Chapter 9 The party went well, except for the fact that a drunk Rey had dragged a shocked and a reluctant Taani from the party.
"
Leave.Me." Taani repeated a little louder this time. She had a few drinks, but she wasn't as sloshed as Rey was.
"
Not.. Waitt.. Not until you listen to what I have to say." Said a drunk Rey. His head was spinning wildly, but he managed to stay awake for Taani.
"
As if there's something left for you to say." She mocked him with a sarcastic tone.
"
Yes.Yes. There is. " Rey replied, hurt with her reply.
"
What? Say then 'cuz I don't have all day." Taani hissed.
A drunk Rey, was now vulnerable. Eager to find emotional solace and his Taani back, He decided to tell her the truth. Making himself focus, he started, "
Taani, I had made a sacrifice. For you. So that I could bring the ambition back in you. I wanted to see you prosper in your career. It was part of the plan.. Everything. Kriya. The fake breakup. I've always loved you, Taani. ALWAYS."
As soon as he said it, he soon regretted it.
Tears in Taani's eyes were the last thing he ever wanted to see. Moreover, he knew he was the reason for he had hurt her numerous times. But, a drunk Rey was adamant to make Taani forgive her and get her back in his life.
He cupped her face and caressed her moist cheeks. Her tearful eyes shot straight into his. He said, "
Taani, I love you. And-"
"
Was it all a lie? Kriya. The breakup. Everything?" She cut him short.
He nodded with a heavy heart. He didn't know how she would react, so he kept quite ready to accept her reaction.
She was beyond shock. Paralyzed, perhaps. Her head screamed ' Everything was just a damn lie ! '. She didn't know what to say for she didn't know what she was feeling.
However, after few minutes of absolute silence, her anger rose. Her eyes were now shooting daggers at him, her jaw clenched.
She hissed, "
You Liar! You have no idea of what I went through because of this stupid lie of yours. I get it. You wanted ambition back in me, but couldn't you for once try talking to me? All these years, I thought you loved Kriya and that's why I left you. To see you happy with her. But, now I realize I was living a life of a damn lie. I had been in immense pain, hoping that you'd be happy with Kriya. But, I now know this wasn't the case at all. You wanted to see me happy, right? For one freaking moment, couldn't you just remind yourself that I'm happy with you. YOU, DAMMIT. ""
Taani, I- " Rey interrupted. His eyes were moist, and his face down with guilt. He knew what she was saying was totally correct. But, did she make a sacrifice as well?
" Let.Me.Complete. Everything was a lie, right? Was our love also a lie? " Taani asked him. This was her hurt speaking. The rejection and betrayal she had kept within herself for years ,busted out.
Rey who was till now all guilty, went mad after listening to this allegation. A question he never wanted to hear. She again doubted his love for her, and this was the one thing he could never bear. No matter what, his love for her will remain pure and unconditional.
Anger rushing through his veins, but he tried to stay calm. Before he could reply, he hear Taani say,
" Oh, holy shit. Yes, your love was also a lie. Everything, dammit. And, I'm now doubting your reason of your so-called sacrifice. Is it even the truth? Did you actually want to me be ambitious or you just got bored of me? I should've known. I was the damn prey in this relationship.". This was initially her hurt speaking, which she had kept within her for so long.
But for Rey, this was it. Jaws clenched, and fist tightened he pinned her to the nearest wall. His nails digging into the soft skin of Taani, but he didn't care for his anger had overpowered him. How dare she doubt his love for her?
He was hell close to her, and seeing this angry Rey made Taani shiver. But, this time she won't give up.
His nose was brushing against hers, their bottoms touching creating a havoc in their senses.
His calmed his anger down and said, "
I've always loved you, Taani. Always. My Love was never a lie, just the breakup. I love you like crazy. Sometimes its intensity freaks me out, but I do. The day we separated.. You have no idea what I felt. I felt like thousands of knives stabbing right into my chest. I lost a part of me, Taani. I lost you. And, I don't want that to happen again. I'm sorry. I really am.." With that, he placed his rough lips on her soft ones, making her grasp. Nothing had changed about her, the same taste. This much needed kiss calmed Rey down, and told Taani of his pure Love. This kiss showered all the love Rey had for her. This sent a shiver down Taani's spine. She gave Rey what he wanted. He was vulnerable at the time and she knew he needed her, his ultimate solace and his haven- her arms. He felt secure.
For Taani, it was just the same. His arms was the one place she loved to be.
The kiss was deepened, when Rey couldn't resist more. He plunged his tongue into her mouth, and sweetness was the only thing he could taste. He snacked his arms around her waist pulling her into her even more. Their bottoms were touching shutting down their senses.
After ages they were in each others arms.
After ages, they had kissed.
Rey's eyes spoke volumes, and just by seeing in them Taani knew that this time, it wasn't a lie. He loved her, always had. But, still trusting him again.. She was still not sure.
"
Rey, can you do something for me? " She asked him hesitantly.
"
Yes, sure. Anything ! " Rey replied confused at what she wanted now.
"
Let Me Go " came her reply.
Despite the fact that my exams are near, I still managed to give you an update. I hope and long for comments. They feel like a reward you know :)
And, I will not be updating much till my exams finish. Till then, I'll be inactive. However, if time permits I'll try my best to give you an update.
