Yes Gunjan loves Ranvi. She always did. In the last years after her mother filled her head with nonsense, she was trying to be someone she was not. Just to get her mother's approval. But the birthday night incident made clear to her that she has wasted her time trying to win her approval coz she never can!!

Her mother is the type of women that plays favourites with her children. I think Gunjan can only ever be frank about that side of her life to Ranvi. He is very important to her. She has even told him about her secret admirer.

But Ranvi being Ranvi is the "strong silent" type. So to date he has not admitted his feelings. When a guy wont come forward and tell you how he feels... Then you also start thinking that you are wasting your time waiting for something. It is better to move on, coz maybe your friend does not feel the same way about you??

Also Gunjan is aware that since she did not go further with her education, her options are limited living in the Pind. So she wants to escape this life and experience something else. She wants to get away from it all. But she has chosen the wrong man to do it with.

However... I too feel that she has suppressed her feelings for Ranvi and is getting on with her life. She has a lot of admirers and she likes to flirt for the attention. But she is a sweet and loving girl inside. A very vulnerable and insecure girl. She dosent want to accept her feelings for Ranvi coz that gets in the way of her ambition to start a new life abroad. So I am waiting for her to realise her feelings and express them!!
