Today’s episode: Memory loss?!!

Friends, I am convinced Dev has a memory loss ... but see what you think!

Quick update:

As Kajjal descends from the bus, the mobike rider (Raju/Dev) passes by her, but they do not see each other!

Its is cold so Hottie asks Kajal to wear a shawl and they both take a taxi (of a local mute taxi driver) and go to a small guest house to stay for two days. There they meet a gurkha at the reception who gives them accommodation. Kajal tries to ask him if he has seen a picture of Dev, but he cannot see without his specs. The picture falls to the ground and the same "chai boy" (of the earlier episode who had brought chai foir Raju/Dev?) comes there and says sorry for knocking the picture from Kajal ... but without seeing it he gives it back to her saying "Must be a precious photo you are so alarmed to lose it"?

They decide to stay there.

At nearby Chameli's Dhaba, Chameli is shown scolding and shouting at other villagers, even the "chai boy" who comes there ... as she serves them all. Dev/Raju is eating there in a silent way ... he is deep in thought as he eats when the gurkha comes to order food for two "memsahibs from Bombay" from Chameli ...

At the guest house that night Kajal barely sleeps and thinks "After so long how will it be to again see Dev!" (thius suggests that some time has passed since the "death"!) ... Kajal is awake early morning but Hottie refuses to wake up. So Kajal decides to go in search of Dev by herself and the raasta is through a forest (just like in Mussoorie!) ... in the misty atmosphere, she meets Chameli midway and asks her the way, but Chameli talks in Haryanvi and goes which Kajal cannot quite understand ... she ventures deeper into the forest imagining bhooths and animals ... she is so scared she starts running ... midway she snags her dupatta on a plant and runs as this Raju grabs her to save her (exactly as a repeat of Mussoorie)!

Kajal has tears in her eyes to see "Dev" so she starts saying"Why did you do this and run from my love? Come back with me" and she hugs him tight. He is listening to all this soberly, but suddenly bursts int laughter at her filmy acting and says "I can go with you to London or America, why just Mumbai!" and heckles her. He speaks with a real tapori style and language, and facial expressions are comical. ... She is stunned with disbelief.

Preview: She asks him "Why are you doing all this naatak?"

Friends, it seems to me as if Dev has had a memory loss, but we'll have to wait and see ... because at times his expression is very sober but then suddenly he freaks out like a tapori! Both sides of him are shown, silent and introspective then suddenly an outburst!

i don't think he had an memory loss but instead i m 100% sure that he his dev & he his pretending that he his raju rangeela,coz the way he was looking at kaajjal i m death sure that he his dev

I also thought of that but then even a person with memory loss often has a faint feeling of having seen someone before but may not be 100% sure.

So it looked to me like the silent Dev, the introspective Dev is indicative that either he is really Dev (just pretending to be Raju) or he could be really having a memory loss and is therefore moody sometimes!

But one thing seems certain. That Raju is Dev ... either pretending or with memory loss!

Buttercup, I was thinking that the story could be going in this direction:

Let's say Dev has a memory loss after that attempted murder/accident by Ameesha. He wanders to a village where a long lost boy is assumed as returned by people of the village when they see him. Since he has no memory after the accident he also fits in into the character that the villagers tell him he is supposed to be?

When Kajal renews contact with him the love story is unfolding exactly like Mussoorie, but this time Kajal may help him regain his memory and in return he may not be as cold and angry as Dev was, and he may reciprocate her love in a jolly happy way of a free personality like this tapori. Thus it may give meaning to Kajal saying to Hottie in the bus" I feel my love story is going to now take a happy new turning!".

Maybe when Kajal tells him the full story of Dev, the kundali etc the tapori personality may get to the bottom of this fraud more easily than "Dev" would have ... and in the process he may also regain his memory?

Yipeeeee, just as I had dreamt. I had also sai that they are showing the prview of DK first meeting as they want to show that RK will meet in a similar way. Yes, now I am sure that Raju is Dev in disguise. But I hope so too that he doesn't have a memory loss. I don't think so. He is acting to be Raju, definitely.

Memory loss would be too confusing.......

I am still thinking about the chain and the locket.....It sure looked dev wanted people to know he is dead!!
