I am back after a break as CVs did not want me around to review their show that was attacked by virus/bacteria together. The thing that made me to write about today's episode is the positivitiy and surprises in it. Not sure how long CVs will stay flu free, but till they are healthy I do not mind writing about the serial.
Hamida has a heart of gold, PERIOD. MH seems to be the skin and blood of Hamida. In those historic days, one would expect people to be very conservative. A princess elopement and bridegroom being cheated would still be considered as grave crimes in this day and age. Ofcourse today's law cannot punish them, but the past law could. Yet, Hamida and MH have no hard feelings at all. She refuses to believe that there was any shortcomings in upbringing of the Ameri daughter. Hamida wisely points out that it was Shivani's immaturity that made her take a step like that. Yet again she supports their upbringing by praising how well Jodha has turned out. All you need is one or two people who love you unconditionally, no enemy can bring you down. Jodha has Hamida and Jalal (almost) on her side. No matter how much Ruqu or MA try, they are unable to harm Jodha.
I can understand that RB wanted to get his love stucken daughter married off ASAP. What I did not understand is how he could take the risk of getting his other daughter's house (Jodha) in serious trouble. As a king and a father, his relationship with Mughal is very delicate and he has to play a role of giver. By marrying of Shivani, he was willing to take the risk of hurting his Samidhis. Even if Shivani did not elope, it was quite possible that she stayed unhappy after marrying MH. It was quite possible that at a later stage MH found out about her love. As a king, its beyond my understanding as to how RB overlooked all of these possibilities. Even as a father he did not think about Jodha, his other daughter. Hence I applaud the big heartedness Hamida and MH showed in forgiving RB.
Jodha is slowly becoming more and more Mughal. Her Ameri aan baan shaan are in the background and her Jalal's aan baan shaan are in the forefront. I would have to give the Mughals (or Jalal and Hamaida) full credit for this change. Jodha had no choice but to see the goodness in them. It was so good to see Jodha speak up for her husband and his family. RB deserved every word of it and may be more. I hope Jodha now understands what Jalal had to go through when BB betrayed him. It was easier for Jodha to forgive as BB was not so close to her as she was to Jalal. Jodha is right, she cannot protect herself when the wound is given by your close ones. Will she ever be able to forgive her parents? Its possible that outwardly she is okay, but deep inside she will never forget the wound. Jalal on the other hand is a very straightforward person - what he feels inside is shown outside. Hence he completely cuts off his ties with BB.
Coming back to the title of my review, was this whole drama to get Jalal realize even more that he is in love? For Jodha to realize that his Jalal has a big heart? It looks like it, poor MH had to become the bali so that these two idiots realize their love for each other. Oh MH, your name will be written in golden letters in India Forums. So, what if it was not written in history. Shaguni bai had to use the whole animal kingdom, snow storm and what not - you are lucky to be chosen for this good cause. The brother scene was so well done, except I do NOT agree that 'love makes you weak'. They threw something similar during BB track also. Shivani did not do anything out of weakness, she needed strength and courage to elope for her love. MH needed to be strong with a big heart to forgive Ameris. Jalal immediately could relate to MH's speech, as he understood why he cannot see pain in Jodha's eyes. Jalal rushes off as he is unable to accept an existence of heart. In the last scene Jodha yet again realizes that Jalal forgiving RB is yet another sign of his kindness.
P.S:
- Why was MA not mad that Jodha was left free? Okay RB did get punished, but her aim to get Jo out had failed. Here we all thought that leaving that last letter was her biggest foolishness.
- CVs the severe flu attack might have erased some part of your memory, reminding you to give us a closure to the love letter track that you started. We had to deal with a romeo Jalal and Ben for so many weeks. I hope another track is not started before we get a closure to the letter track.
Precap: I love Jodha in apologetic mode and Jalal in anger mode! Although, Jalal your anger at Jodha days are numbered! The moment she makes a sad sorry face, you cannot take the pain of your love!
