😲 I love the Oscar nominations. Very fair and balanced. Yes, I feel American Hustle was overrated. But, it is not like Salman's Dabanng or Ram Leela. 😉 At least those people can act. Why can't our Indian lame awards shows be balanced and fair like the Oscars? Hollywood at least has good taste. If I see Aamir winning for Dhoom 3 (even though I like him), it will be the biggest joke of the year. 🤣 Farhan Akhtar deserves it for BMB.

heeey Nimrat,Deepika, Sonakshi,Farhan,Irfan etc CAN act, it's just the quality of their movies not on par with Hollywood (the oscar standard ones), esp some/most of the movies were copied from Hollywood movies

oh and the fact that they could nominated movies or person just because it's a hyped even if the movie just so basic and acting too, just to please some ppl 😆 even if it mean they need to sacrifice the DESERVING ones

Well I would like to point out one thing... It's not HW which is better, but audience which is better than of India. In India, forget about the improvement of quality of movies, it's degrading, getting worse than ever. And about Filmfare... probably when India will have an educated decent audience, something will happen.
P.S. On a side note, I don't think all wonderful movies are ignored. I guess Ship of Theseus has got many nominations, and few years back, Udaan too got enough acclaim.

Oscars have their own biases but, yes, they are fairer, much much, fairer than Indian paan-masala awards. ;)

The problem with Indian awards is that they don't want to move away from nominating their "favorites," or the ones that perform for free during the function. They're too narrow-minded.

these days Oscar is just riding on popularity chart...like why the f**k would they nominate JLaw over Emma Thompson and Jonah Hill over Daniel Bruhl????
