Have been meaning to make this post since the past few days actually 😆
I don't know much about Ashish's previous shows and characters but the dedication that he has shown towards Rangrasiya and his character of Rudra has left me absolutely stumped!
To understand Rudra, and to get into his character he visited the BSF headquarters in Jaipur and observed the officers.
I also remember reading an article where he said that he would sit idle for hours, not talking or doing anything .. again, just to get into the character of Rudra. And all this before the show even began!
The other day we got the exclusive byte from Colors, were Ashish told the interviewer that he was sacrificing his sleep only so that he would look pale .. because that's something one can't achieve with make up, is what he said! That is dedication!!! Sleeping for only 2 hours every night, even though he's exhausted, even though his body is probably craving the rest, but he'll do it if it means Rudra's character will benefit. Respect!
And I have seen this kind of dedication and professionalism in Sanaya over the years that I have followed her.
She worked when she had a disease like Malaria even though she clearly should have been resting. Those fans that followed her previous shows, especially MJHT must have seen how often she fell sick but came into shoot every day and gave her very best!
She refused Jhalak and Nach Baliye so that her performance in her show wouldn't be compromised upon.
At a certain point in time during one of her previous show, a co-star said that "she literally lived on her sets" because the weight of the entire show was on her shoulder and not ONCE did she complain.
What I have seen in both Sanaya and Ashish is that once they do a show, the show is most important to them .. everything else is secondary. They will do whatever is best for the show, for their character, even though a lot of times, it isn't the best thing for them! Which is why I think Sanaya and Ashish are the perfect professional partners. Their dedication towards their show is commendable, truly!
