Naina, great post! You know for me shlok's negativity and Asthas weakness are the main interesting aspects of this serial. I don't want shlok to change much, and I want Astha to be the way she is , making mistakes and not learning from them 😆 This serial is about two flawed characters and their life together. Yes, I want shlok and Astha to be end game now. 😊

great post. they were always attracted to each other, even when they hated each other in the beginning. i think if they took their time to date, love and then marry, they would have been just like any other happy couple. all the haste from shlok's side caused this. why has he acted that way? only shlok can answer that.

Great Post. Yes, Shlok is a complicated character,we love to hate him and hate to love him(at least I do). And Astha she is such a weakling, how much ever I want her to be strong she keeps attracted to Shlok like a magnet. Both are obsessed over the other. Their story is unique, have never seen such love story before. And I just love how how Avi and Shrenu are portraying these characters.

Nice post. Agreed to your pov. We know Shlok did wrong but we cannot decide what he deserves until we know what has happened in the past. And if he realizes his mistake then they should be together. I love them as they are. They are shown quite realistic characters not like other serials that hero is all good n girl is all intelligent. Love the complex character of Shlok n confused character of aastha. Just want them to remain same. And stay together till the end.

Regarding similarities n differences...

as per me NA character is alott diff from Shlok's, we dont know to what extent he has hurt anjali n her family n why? ,will have to wait for that to be revealed, n Shlok he just wanted 'revenge'- "he was never there in the promises made on marriage day"...,but Niranjan was coz he married Anjali he was not forced into it... n regarding redemption i personally feel we all commit mistakes in life some small-some big, but the moment we want to start afresh ,we want others to accept us n forgive us , so why not Shlok n Niranjan (by forgiving i dont mean Anjali n Astha are bound to stay with their husbands but redemption is possible the very moment u urself want so)

I admit that I dont like Shlok's character... but that is how he is,n actualy a bit close to reality

not like heroes in movies n serials with honey dipped dialogues...

He says what he feels,making Astha realize she is weak n has to surrender

(but i feel he might have let astha go dat b'day celebration day,but his baba is making him to stick to her...)

He did wrong by marrying Astha,but thats the story... He made Astha fall in love ...she tried hard not to,but innocent ppl usually land in such situations he made her feel so special ,any girl could have fallen for him...

I dont think astha is weak ,

she was determined to leave agni house the very next day shlok revealed everything in temple ,not even thinking of society threats by shlok...

but after the HM track her views are a bit changed, she is again confused...

n needs time...

N to add on , no one is letting them do what they want , some forcing them into the relation like our traditions ask us to,some asking to end up n move ahead...

They both need time, I dont say they should stay together forever ,

Astha deserves a lot better than an angry young man ... but what Shlok deserves can't say till his past is revealed... ( the small flashbacks show he used to be a nice guy in love with a girl but did they broke-up coz of his ego issue or something else ,need to wait to know that)

For Shlok i wana say "No matter what your past is ,it should make u BETTER NOT BITTER"

n Astha needs Time...time to forget her first love n needs to be more strong n independent... she needs time n we need to wait...

Such a lovely post & true to the story of the show..
I specially liked ur comments about Shlok's character.
His character is so so different frm the usual goodie goodie type characters which we normally see on movies/Television & thats why I lyk his character so much.His character is so true to reality...in reality no one is perfect that doesnt mean that we all are vamps/villains.Every individual thinks about different situations differently.Shlok has his own way of thinking...he solves his own matters in a different way...Although he was wrong in marrying Astha & then making her lyf hell but thats the whole story about & thats the reason we love the show..
Astha on the other side is a normal girl who has dreamed of a normal lyf with the person she loved...but all hell broke & she is unable to come to terms with it...along with the pressures frm her surroundings...

Beautiful post...yes I want them to be them n not change...its more believable like this...its not easy to stop loving for Asstha. ..It will take time but shlok will realise his love too...but he will never be the lovey dovey sort
