Unres'd-So, I have been watching this show since the 1st episode, giving it a chance, to see whether I'll like it enough to watch it, regularly-& today, I, finally found an episode I LIKED, really, really liked-everything fit, if there were faults, I didn't notice, nor do I care, because, I don't know what it was about this episode, but it, actually made me want to watch where this impossible story heads, not just objectively appreciate the good work put into it!
I, really did feel the action sequences & the patriotism were portrayed in an OTT manner-BUT, I feel, it fit, it was movie-like(again, like, everything else on this show) & somewhere in the middle of Rudra's fighting back, I chose to buy it, for what was, & accept it! Rudra puts his country above & beyond all else! Point noted! For everybody that thinks, its too much violence, the Army never practised non-violence & was never expected to, so, I feel its a story requirement & in any case, the caption of the show states that its a bloody love-story set in the land of sand & sand dunes-I'm saying this MKM, because there have been a lot of posts regarding the same & this is my opinion about the action scenes!
Now, onto sheer brilliance-I don't like dramatic twists, but, the moment I watched the coming up with Varun pointing his gun at Paro, I knew they had struck a bull's eye, in terms of creating in afantastic misunderstanding, with nobody to clear or clarify it! This is no flimsy misunderstanding! That was amazing! We got rid of saccarine sweet Varun(I was beginning to get irritated with the guy) & how! Quite a timing Paro has! This misunderstanding, to be cleared, requires for Thakir & co to be exposed & well, that's bound to take time, until then, its Paro hating Rudra! Paro has no reason to believe Rudra, even if he were to try to tell her that her husband was a devil in disguise! Rudra doesn't seem to believe she's not a traitor, either, irrespective of the soft spot he seems to have for her, so, yeah, they have the potential for a well-written plotline to take it further!
Ashish is amazing as Rudra!
Precap-had to, had to mention this! Whoever cane up with the idea of that shot, I'd like to tell them, take a bow! It has to be quite a brilliant thing for it to stand out even after watching a stunning episode as the one aired today!
@MKM-what do I tell you that hasn't been told before, you write wonderfully, your take on the episode has become integral to the Rangrasiya experience! Another fantastic take on a stunning episode!
