The awards are to celebrate music in india, it also includes non film music which also needs to be appreciated, kind of like India's version of the Grammys.

So glad ranveer is hosting, he did a great job last time and has great hosting skills.

Kya SRK ka fan ho Sayed bhai.Itna bhi nehi pata ki SRK performed at Gima Awards 2011.Ranveer also hosted that season.
