Aamir khan's some good movies

3 idiots: Movie had strong storyline and boman and omi stole the show. Aamir was just a byproduct.

taare Zameen par: kid was everything. aamir was just a supporting actor.

rang de basanti: siddhart was praised the most.

Dil chahta hai: its the friendship which made the movie. Aamir alone couldn't have done anything.

Lagaan: Strong storyline, excellent direction + cricket made the movie. Aamir had nothing to do with film success. Even kachra acted better.

He may be pulling the crowd to the theatres but got nothing that makes movie work.

Aamir undoubtedly is one of the greatest actors , so deeply immersed in the skin of the character.

But this point irks me too.. My most Aamir's most favorite movies are Lagaan , 3 Idiots , Rang De basanti , Sarfarosh and Dil Chahta hai...And 4 outta 5 aren't solo movies...but a team work...but he has always been blindly held unescorted responsible of the mega success of these super hits being sightless to the great supportive cast .

True but tell me honestly, in any of the films you listed, did people went gaga because of amir's acting. For e.g. Everybody went crazy for salmaan due to dabangg and no one could say that anybody else is responsible for dabang's success. Chak de India, it was a big shut up for everybody who said SRK couldn't act. Rabir kapoor showed what acting is in Barfi. I don't think same could be said for aamir khan. Every movie is a team effort but the real star is someone who people won't praise just for formality.

Boman and Omi stole show from Rancho 🤣...It was bindass attitude of Rancho which was breath of fresh air and every actor acted well.. From Aamir to millimeter centimeter guy.
Kid was everything. But Aamir did justice to his role too.
RDB- Siddharth wasnt praised the most. Aamir was praised just as much. Aamir's role was more challenging cause of punjabi diction.
DCH- Sure any good movie cant be made alone :). This isnt some masala. But that doesnt take away the fact that Aamir was perfect as Aakash.
Lagaan- Do I even need to say anything? Aamir lived breathed Bhuvan. Cant imagine anyone else playing the character so perfectly. Anyone else would have gone OTT, and yeah it was the same man who played Rancho at 44 and convinced majority.

Lastly a great movie can never be made all alone. In an amazing movie every actor needs to do justice. Suprisingly its just Aamir who can IMO have such great friendship chemistry with Madhavan, Sharman, Siddharth, Akshay, Saif. Aamir can create any type of chemistry. Together with Darsheel he showed how beautiful teacher-student bond can be and should be.

And yeah its just Aamir who has done such great quality films back to back. Cant just be a coincidence. Saying that Aamir did ''nothing'' for those movies clearly shows the bias.😛

if bollywood awards become like oscars, only people like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, irfan khan, manoj bajpai, boman, will win awards. Rest stand no chance in front of them.

Who say he is responsible for good films? Read Aamir interviews, he said all credit should go to Raju Hirani and the writers for 3idiots doing so such business, it's not actors that help sustained the film so well but the content of the film.

But he should be credited for choosing good scripts 😃

For me it was Madhavan and Sharman, their characters were more relatable and flawed, with their own issues and problems, Rancho was good, but he was too perfect, had the answer to everything, no flaw or anything.

yes sharman was good too amir too but for it was madhavan the best link in the movie 😊
