Munmun Dutta (born 28 September 1987 is an Indian film, television actress and model. She is better known for her role of Babita in India's longest running sitcom Tv serial Taarak mehta ka ooltah chashmah.

Career :

While living in Pune, Dutta participated in fashion shows. During her fashion shows she came to Mumbai and got acting debut role in Zee tv's 2004 TV serial Hum sab Baraati . Dutta has done modelling in many TV commercials. She got her first film role in kamal hassan's film Mumbai Express Later on in 2006 she acted in film Holiday. Since 2008 she is doing role of Babita in India's longest running comedy TV serial Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Tmkoc is based on happening of Gokuldham cooperative housing society and the day to day life of its members. In the society lives Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bihari,south Indian, Bengali, Parsi and Muslim in harmony. The show portrays day to day problems which often worse to some troublesome difficulty especially Jethalal however any member in difficulty all help them and at the end of episode the narrator Tarak Mehta gives an outline of concluding episode.
