This week(11th-12th January 2014),on Saturday,Kanica-Ankur got eliminated..They were in the 'bottom two',along with Kiku-Priyanka..They didn't give any performance due to her injury!

So,Ankur Ghai & Kanica Maheshwari Ghai's journey on "Nach Baliye 6" ends here! They made it till Top 8!!!

Nach Baliye 6 has been on an injury track from the time it has taken off. Most of the contestants are getting injured, week after week.

This week the celebrity couple that is bidding good bye to the Nach Baliye 6 stage is going to be Kanika Maheshwari and her builder husband Ankur Ghai. The reason being Kanika has badly injured her foot a week ago.

Ankur was Sajid Khan's favourite and always the butt of his jokes, which he took very sportingly. However Kanika, was having a tough time managing between the schedules of Nach Baliye 6 and Diya Aur Baati Hum.

"Reality shows are real and we have to prepare our act in five days. It is very tough; I shoot Diya Aur Baati Hum also. So for me to give twelve hours to that, then the performance and also give time to my husband is making things really tough," Kanika had stated a couple of weeks ago.

The other celebrities who have hurt themselves during this show are Gurmeet Choudhary's wife Debina Bonnerjee who is still trying to hold on and Raju Srivastava's wife Shikha Srivastava. However Raju and Shikha were evicted a couple of weeks ago due to lack of votes in their kitty.

Kanika finds Vinod Thakur and Raksha most inspiring of them all. She stated, "For me, Vinod and Raksha are very inspiring. That man is handicapped and to see him perform gives me inspiration that if he can then I can do a lot more."

On the other hand, Ankur found Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee, Rakesh Bapat-Riddhi Dogra and Raju Srivastava-Shikha Srivastava very inspiring.

At the end of it all, Kanika and Ankur were one couple we would have loved to on the stage of Nach Baliye 6 more, not because of their great dancing but because they were great entertainers.

Both of you will surely be missed.
