Kratika Sengar was born on July 3, 1986 and is from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She went to Methodist High School, Kanpur and then moved to Delhi and graduated from Delhi University.
Then she moved to Mumbai for her further career. Before entering into acting she worked in an ad agency in Mumbai and for Hungama TV
She gained recognition in the television industry as P2(Prerna) from Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She got a major break by lead role of Lakshmibai in the show "Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani".She was awarded Women Achievers awards for the role of Lakshmibai ."Read My Silence" is the short film in which she played a lead role of Arsala Fatima .She was last seen as Aarti in ZeeTV show Punar Vivaah - Zindgi Milegi Dobara.
