Perplexed with Kusum's 'sudden' change of heart!

But if you think about ... then when Kusum was acting like an idiot ... we thought ... isn't she the same girl who witnessed this great love story of SaMud's? How can she behave this way?

I know!!! Bad writing... But I would have been more convinced if Kusum had not found Kumud the way she did and not listened to what she did... It would have looked more logical if Kusum had heard Kumud ranting to Saras about how much she loves her little sister and how she can't bear to see her life in a mess, etc etc. - you know, the OTT emotional dialogues that Kumud has already delivered before but Kusum was not listening... OR if she heard Saras say to Kumud that if he had indeed married Kusum, he would have turned into his father and either destroyed Kusum or destroyed himself...

But whatever she did see and hear, those were not things that could cause a change of heart for somebody so twisted and lost...

It could be the track was there to make up for Jen's absence... or maybe cause of the writer-change .. they totally changed the track...

I'm glad Kusum came back to her senses...I don't want her to turn negative. I like Kusum. 🤔

Isn't Kusum the same girl that cut her wrists when she saw that her groom was not Saras? Isn't she the same girl that taunted Kumud and challenged her and wished her to return to somebody like Pramad just so she, Kusum could have Saras? Isn't she the same witch that put her room on fire to blackmail her sister and later winced when she saw Saras comfort Kumud? And the same girl that was concerned about the "dhoop" and about the family and Saras hating her but never about what her sister was going through?!

Now THIS girl, having done all of the above things AND more, found out yesterday that her sister and Saras were just playing with her and pretending to teach her a lesson. What do you think SHOULD have been her reaction? It should logically have been of anger and hatred and revenge. I'm completely taken aback to see a repentant Kusum!! Doesn't make logical sense.

So it's either bad writing - just like the bad writing that had initially turned a sweet, loving, caring little sister into a witch. OR... is it that Kusum is just pretending and is planning to strike when it will hurt Kumud and Saras the most???!!!

2 to 3 days she did not see Kumud and Saras was torturing her, making her feel guilty. Plus she did not have a chance with Kalika much to be brainwashed. When her whole family got mad at her that wasthe turning point I guess. SHe got a chance to think about reality.

Whatever I am glad it is done. This was just killing me...

I am shocked too...but I hope she has really changed and will move on with Danny and live a good life...i hope she has changed for the better... 😊

Did not make sense to me either. I think it is poor writing. There was nothing convincing for someone so... lunatic to change so... suddenly. Any ways, i am glad that track ended. I can never like kusum again.
