Do any of you feel that the character of Thakur is a bit too sophisticated to be believable as the crude crime-lord of a remote village? His manner of speaking and intimidating are more befitting of an urban Mafia boss than a rustic feudal. Anybody felt this?

With Thakur he seems like a nice person HOWEVER he wants what he wants!! And this is by any means necessary..okay it does sound a little don like but he basically does all he needs to do to keep his power over the village

He's an interesting villain and definitely grey over black because he isn't all bad and conniving, only when something threatens his power

I think Thakur is an educated man and he and Thakurain both have an air of sophistication in the way they carry themselves. He's old time royalty and not just a big feudal land owner.
