Akshay and Karan to team up for another film!

Actor Akshay Kumar, who was set to act in Karan Johar's home production 'Gutka', is apparently not doing it but would work in another movie with him.

There was buzz that Akshay was not happy with the way 'Gutka' was shaping up.

"We are making a film with Akshay for sure. The subject is going through some changes. But Akshay and I are working together for sure. And we will make the announcement soon," Karan told PTI.

When asked if he is not doing 'Gutka', Karan said, "It might be another film."

Earlier, director Punit Malhotra had said he was working on film titled 'Gutka', but it is far from completion right now.

"It is a very different film, it is a full on drama film. It's a shift for me also. It's a hard hitting drama film," Punit had said.

Despite Karan clarifying that Kareena would be part of 'Shuddhi', there is buzz that Katrina Kaif has also been approached for the film. However, Karan dismissed such reports.

"Kareena is very much part of the project. Do not believe in anything, nobody is approached," he added.

Karan would also be teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor for a film. But he says nothing is locked yet.
