She is a like a lost treasure. I "wish" someone there was some kind of diary written by her. Abhay , as usual thank u for enlightening us.Komal thank u too . šŸ¤—

Syria,

See my comment on previous page, re-qouted by Maddy here also.
I Have written something on this 'PUZZLE' .

She is not a puzzle. But, deliberately made a puzzle.

BTW, i am gone now seriously. I am addicted researching on her to be honest.
The more i get, the more i want to know.
Don't know when and where i will stop.

@Red
Try finding about the 'MISSING' pages of Gulbadan Begum's memoirs.
I have READ something on this also.
Otherwise, i am going to start a thread on this issue as well.
(Do not conclude anything BIG now. I have just written a reply.)

P.S -> No PM please for now. Battling old ones now.šŸ˜•
@All ---> PM to me or KDR81 means same thing.
Post here.!.😊

I truly agree with you, Jodha is one great bashaan giver but as she is so very informed on many topics I have no qualms. However don't you think that the representation of Jalal is being showed rather weak, I mean I do understand that the real Akbar had a lot of wives and most of them were headaches for him (it seems so) but being involved in Harem politics.
I really feel pity for Raziya Sultan though, the grave never found and stuff.

Sara,
Your all points are valid. And, to the point.

@Red
Yes, she shared her views with him. But, as you also said, only that lady can give views who is an informed one, and hence no qualms. And, she was so much involved with him, that at times she was called his "SHADOW" !

@Blue
Agreed.This has happened lately in our show now. And, many of us are not happy with this as well. Let's wait. Hope the situation improves soon. And, having many wives will surely sometimes engulf him in such politics as well.

BTW, in my post, i only wrote facts.😊 Just to tell that Lengthy convo were actually true. And, atleast 2-3 are very famous, coz they involved confrontations with Ulemas as well.!šŸ˜•!.

I also feel pity for that lady, Razia. Fighting against ulemas, leading horses in battlefield and finally betrayed and getting killed, is a sad end. Moreover, her grave is not sure.
Delhi, Bhatinda, Rajasthan, Kaithal..?..šŸ˜•..

Thanks again Abhay and kamal šŸ¤—
I am a believer 😊and find Jodha extremely fascinating. As you rightly pointed out, History has been most unkind to her...her identity practically erased ! And the forum is not far behind šŸ˜†
Seriously, thanks for the insightful information. One can only imagine the influence and support of MUZ in Akbar's life. šŸ‘

I have read most of ur updates but still need to catch up. It is all very interesting and making me more intrigued.
Thanks once again. Highly appreciated.

Abhay one more question (sorry can't help it!)

Is there information about how many wives Akbar had?
There is mention about his marrying others after Jodha
Since Jodha and Rukayya lead long lives this question popped in mind.
Were Shehenshah's exempt from 4 marriages allowed rule?

I really felt woe when i saw at forum in posts that jodha shouldn't give lecture to jalal,its not harmonized with her character who has come frm 16th century! Kyu bhai! Whats prblm here if a wife contradicts, altercates,argues with her hubby when hubby needs to plausible advice or they don't become unanimous on any issue? Whatever its the time of 16 century..moreover,if jodha really argued with jalal according to history then it wouldn't b ever irrational issue even its proved jodha as a sage n self respected lady who never backwarded to express her verdict before her hubby who is mighty mughal emperor.

Nabiii,

All points which you said are fine. But, the points in BOLD are MOST STRIKING, because they are correct from historical POV. You & many people here have said more, there is almost nothing left for me to speak.😊.

The only motive here was to tell that 16th century CLAUSE should not be used to fend off every thing as false. Also, if Akbar listened or took her advice, it should not be seen as a mark of disrespect for him.😊.Also, you said correct despite being the mighty ruler, he listened. So, there is no point of any disrespect.
