Jacques Kallis survived two chances to guide South Africa to a seven-wicket win over Ireland in a rain-affected Super Eights World Cup match on Tuesday.
Kallis scored 66 not out as the world's top-ranked team crossed their victory target of 160 under the Duckworth Lewis system with 21 balls to spare.
Ireland were restricted to 152 for eight after rain reduced the contest to 35-overs a side.
South Africa replied with 165 for three and now have four points after chalking up their second victory in the second phase of the tournament.
