Sanjaya is all over the AI news. None of the fans were Indians but all were teens. That's why I pointed out that it has got more to do with teens and gays than Indians and Italians. That kid has some charm over the teen girls and guys. 😃

Now should we say that teens are the most racist in the world?😉

Why Sanjaya is still on AI?

1. Because of his teen, innocent appeal to all teenage girls.

2. Indian, Italian and gay voting.

😆😆😆

Common Manish browse India forum for a change, see how many "for" Sanjaya people you will find, and they state clearly why😆

Want me to point you to a thread in "your" section😉

yaar tu india-forum pe rahke india-forum ki baat nahi karta fox ke baat karta hai😆, wonder why🤔

Sareg, Did you miss rest of the points I mentioned😉? Here are they

1. Because of his teen, innocent appeal to all teenage girls.

2. Indian, Italian and gay voting.

3. He comes across as a soft spoken, sweet natured guy.

4. Pity votes because his voice is still in thte changing phase and shrills.

5. Negative publicity.

Now are all gays, Italians, teens racist too. Or do you want to blame only Asians and in this case Indians? 😆😆

I used to think just like you but after watching the AI news on various channels I couldn't find a single Indian in any of those crowd which supported Sanjaya which made me ponder on this issue. Why most of the times innocent, smiling ones take away the title? Is it only regionism or is there more to it?

ok, stop there and think hmmmm, why Indians, look around ask the Indians why, you will get the answer😆

Comeon watch American news or any program, do you see Indians😆, they have selective vision syndrome😉

Why most of the times innocent, smiling ones take away the title? Is it only regionism or is there more to it?

so now you are reasoning ah well he must have talent to be in the top 12😉

😆Sareg, That was only one of the point. All others are equally important and something to ponder on. I am not negating that.

I especially like the one Sound mentioned. When a show asks for public voting there goes definition of "real" talent. Everyone who votes have their reasons for voting that contestant.

It's wonderful if the best talent wins any reality show but the moment they add the clause for public voting, IMO that's the moment when guarantee is lost. Not everyone in the public is a fair judge to begin with, not everyone is knowledgable enough to pass the right judgement. And lastly, emotions play a huge role. Public might not even be looking for the right talent. As Maya mentioned earlier, it is about who connects the best with the public. I have never ever voted for a reality show before, but if I ever did, I could never claim that I am voting based only on talent.

👏My views exactly Neets.

Sadly this idol is a total washout... there is no variety... Both the top two singers sing the "black" style which I dont like.. so am stuck with Blake.. who comes closest to being the 3rd... So the only saving grace is Haley's charming face and long legs... 😉 I stop watching idol if haley goes out.... and sanjaya's comedy hour..😆

How much I miss guys like Chris daughtry!! 😭

good topic 👏 but goodness I want to yank that boy out of my tv screen every time I see him on it...he butchers every song so harshly...and if people are just voting for him b/c he's indian, get over it...I don't watch american idol that much...just the auditions, they tickle my funny bone...anyhoo, I do like that black girl who my roomate calls bobblehead and the boy who does the beatbox ( don't know names but I don't watch it much, my rommie is addicted therefore sometimes I end up watching it )
