Drashti Dhami Started her career with Serial Dil Mil Gaye
as Dr. Muskan.

After the serial, she did Geet Hui Sabse Parayee
as Geet .
which was a big turning point in her career.

Now she is doing Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
as Madhubala .

Dr. Muskaan Chadda is the character of a fun loving, vivacious, vibrant Punjabi girl who comes to Sanjeevni hospital to escape her parents insistence of marriage. The character had immense strength as she took responsibility for her brother who was a drug addict and had to go through many other issues but always had a smile present on her face. She was a complete Punjabi at soul but modern at heart, Muskaan's attire very well defined her attitude towards life. At first she has a crush on Dr. Armaan but later discovers she has fallen for her colleague and childhood foe Dr. Rahul. The duo had very light hearted chemistry as they were always rival with one another for childish reason yet very much in love.

Drashti Dhami was beyond adorable portraying the character Dr. Muskaan. The character of the bubbly, outgoing and outspoken doctor is a great reflection of Drashti's own charming personality. Her character always was peculiar yet enthralling. When she kicks men at unbearable spot or beats Rahul all we could say is "Jungli billi". She is well known for her non-stop babbling n laughing historically. Her character took a new angle when she consummated with her love. However, he always walked out on her whenever she wanted to come closer. Her friendship with Atul was always heart warming the way Muskaan used to make Atul's love (Anjali) jealous or the way Atul used to make Muskaan's love (Rahul) jealous n their failed attempts were fun and entertaining.

Geet was born in a traditional Punjabi family and got married to an NRI named Dev. Her blissful marriage turns into a nightmare when Dev abandons her at the airport, on their way to Canada. Geet later finds out she is pregnant and refuses to conform to her family and society's demand for an abortion, therefore she runs off to Dehli to save her unborn child. Her tousled life had a lone savior named Maan Singh Khurana who was Geet's personal Knight in Shining Armor. As fate allied with cupid, ensued the love story of Maan and Geet. The unraveling of secrets led Geet to seek justice and undo the wrongs Dev had done to her. Ironically, Dev happened to be Maan's younger brother, which led to Geet forgiving him later on in her journey. Finally, the epic love story rested with Geet winning back Maan's love after his memory loss and the birth of Jr Khurana.

In a nutshell Geet stood for everything that Women of 21st Century desired for: a Virtuous life, a dignified identity, and a loyal companion. Geet represented Life, Love & its Various manifestations.

Madhubala is an ordinary girl with an extraordinary journey. From the moment she was born she started to face struggles and obstacles in life. Although she was born in a studio and brought up in a filmy world she had no aspirations to join the industry. She instead had very simple and sweet dreams. She was a very giving girl who always put others before herself. And no matter what she always stood up for what she believed was right. It was due to this character trait of hers that she managed to hurt the ego of a very complex superstar RK. In return the superstar married her. He tried to break her pride and her heart. However, Madhu never fell apart she was always stood strong and rebelled against him. Madhu managed to see a soft Rishabh buried underneath his rough exterior and eventually fell in love. She also managed to win his love as well and taught him once again how to love others. After this Madhu only dreamed of living a life filled with love along with RK. But destiny had others plans for her. Fate eventually makes Madhubala a superstar and this has drastic effects on their relationship. And makes Madhu face many more obstacles in her life.

Drashti has made this character come to life over the past year. The caring nature, bravery, anger, love, betrayal, pain, suffering, happiness, dreams, each and every aspect of Madhubala has been portrayed to perfection by Drashti Dhami. She made us cry with her after she was betrayed. Cheer for her when she stood up to RK. Yearn for while she was suffering from a miscarriage. We have felt each and every emotion of Madhubala as its character has been depicted to perfection by our very own Drashti.

In 2013 Drashti decided to participate in Jhalak Dikhla 6. Paired with the very talented choreographer Salman Yussuf Khan, she started off journey very nervous and skeptical. This was visible in her very first performance itself where she was noted for shaking and nervousness by all three judges. But from that moment onwards no one could deny her tremendous growth as a dancer.

Drashti Dhami who had always been very passionate about dancing was said to be a great student by her choreographer. She learned with full enthusiasm and dedication. She managed to score her first thirty doing an aerial act on "Hum Rahe ya Na Rahe Kal Yaad Aayenge Yeh Pal." From that moment on she continued to amaze us through her dancing. She tried various dance forms, from tango, to contemporary, to flamingo, waltz, salsa, afro, jive, hip-hop, and Bollywood. She continued to win hearts and leave people awestruck. Karan Johar named her the brand ambassador of Jhalak due to her evolution as a dancer. More than just her dancing skills it was her confidence on stage which continued to grow.

However, Drashti Dhami's journey of Jhalak wasn't an easy one. She faced many obstacles. For an example, her greatest hurdle was her time constraint. She was managing two shows and thus didn't get as much time to practice. She was also drained of energy due to this but still continued to give her 200%. She experienced injuries like jamming her thigh, and hurting her neck. She scored low a few times. This disheartened Drashti but it didn't stop her. She continued even more determined than before.

Of course her Jhalak experience would not have been the same without the help of her family friends and fans. Her mother would wake her up early in the morning, pressing her legs. Her friends would come in the middle of the night to cheer her during her rehearsals. She had many of her television friends supporting her. Some of the most notable names include Karan Singh Grover, Jenifer Winget, Sanaya Irani, and Nakul Mehta. The journey of Jhalak remains one which she will always cherish for the rest of her life.

Drashti hardwork, dedication, talent, family and friends support, fans confidence in her all together made her winning Jhalak Dikhlaja Jaa Season 6 with record number of votes till date by any star .
