Nautanki Films successful onscreen outing Rangrasiya has reached the last lap of its first run, viz the end of the maiden week. The week started with a bombastic episode which assured the viewers of "never before seen" action to unfold on TV and now ended with another episode high on drama and other creative aspects.

First, the regular complaint heard is Sanaya looks a bit older than her previous projects. Well, in other shows the gorgeous Sanaya was supposed to be the crux of the show as her previous shows banked heavily on her but in Rangrasiya story and perfection are the USPs. For a character like Parvati, who has suffered enough in her life she looks worn out and strained and perfectly so. And also, she is not supposed to be laden with makeup.
Ashish looks perfectly macho. The creatives have perfectly utilized his eyes, his moustache and above all his acting prowess which are Ashishs strengths while his weaknesses have been minimalized.
As for the wedding custom, the wedding thing is a big sham, for it is next to impossible that Pakistani Hindus, who are almost negligible in proprtion to the dominant community there, and are tortured relentlessly in Pakistan can marry girls from India. Secondly, they are majorly unified in provinces like Sindh which do not exactly classify as "border areas". In such a case, the existence of a Hindu village near the border is highly doubtful and it appears that ThakurSa only uses this as a ploy to smuggle illegal weapons and that the girl is either killed or sold off post the transaction. However, it raises doubts then that Birpur residents who have a deep connect across the border are totally ignorant of these things.
The same situation applies to the dead man. He is from across the border but where?
This situation can best be explained by the existence of enclaves such as "Chitmahals" which exist along the Indo-Bangla border between my state West Bengal, Assam, Tripura and Bangladesh on the other side.
But such enclaves are politically sensitive and hence people from such enclaves are allowed to freely go from one country to the other. However the functioning of BSD indicates that there can be no enclave there. Also, along the Indo-Pak border there is no instance of such enclaves, as far as my knowldege goes.
Therefore, Mr. Saurabh Tewari has a very difficult job out here to rationally explain this thing which I wish he would do in future episodes, as the geopolitical designs of Birpur are central to the theme of the story and hence we expect him to deal with it rationally.
Now coming to the episode, agni (fire) is the hero here. In the worlds oldest religion surviving today, Sanatan Dharma, fire is expected to be the purifier which destroys the unholy and cleanses the soul. This is what Rudra stands for. He is here to destroy the unholy elements and purify Birpur. However fire has a very negative side to it, that is being the ambassador of destruction. This image is ingrained in the mind of Paro. Thus all we can see that it is a game of perceptions.
For all her naivity, Thakurain Sa may well be a party to Thakurs plans which is seen as a glimpse in her worried question about the new officer in Birpur. It might also be a regular qualm.
As Thakur Sa says let them war against each other and die, in the context of illegal arms being traded, does it mean that there is a deeper political conspiracy out here, that is tio make the neigbouring nation politically unstable and that he is being favoured by a wider political force and some "behind the scene" masters?
Well, it seems Rangrasiya has increased its expectationsby being such a fine show. Let us see how long it is able to sustain the momentum it has now generated!!
And oh, Bindi is going to die. In trademark Nautanki Films style where important supporting characters are made to bid goodbye in the initial episodes (Sushmita Mukherjee of Madhubala, Farooq Sheikh of Do Dil Ek Jaan), Bindi also is going to bid adieu to the audience. The audience will keep loving her character irrespective of her presence in the show!
The coming week has lots to show-the marriage, Bindis death, the BSD attack during the wedding..so Stay Tuned Guys!

Hope the standards set in RR's first week run are carried on future too 😊😊 ...& Creatives maintain the flow of story & doesn't take it down hill just for the heck of TRPs 😊😊
