Ye aeb ishq, ye bair ishq...
Ishq, ishq,ishq...
(This red love, this remorse love,
The defect that love is, this enmity that love is..
This love...)
Tujh sang bair lagaya aisa...
Raha na main phir apne jaisa...
(I have had such an enmity with you...
That I haven't remained myself anymore...)
Strange as it may sound, it is true that love transcends all boundary and restraints. It never knocks to gain an entry in your life, it just barges in. And the most amazing part of it remains the fact that we never are aware of it. It might wound you for the scars to remain, it might heal for the health to remain, it might abandon you for you to remain lonely or it might transcend time and space to be with you. It is strange for two entities, both stark opposite and complementing of each other to cross their paths this way. What worked there was beyond the simple understanding for destiny has its own way with its puppets.
Rudra ne bohot koshish kii hai bhulane kii...par...
Life at times really has a cruel sense of humor. It gives you the thing you wanted the most at the worst time possible. Of course he wanted to return to his native place to find out about all that happened 15 years back but, the way he makes his return only adds to the black fury that he has in his head!! But then again the brave BSD officer takes over the insecure mite and he is ready to plunge into the mission at hand. He leaves for Beerpur unbeknown to his life that awaits there.
On the other hand we have Paro, who shyly and defiantly takes baby steps towards her future. She has downcast eyes that refuse the sight of the world around. She still is hesitant and knows not what might hit her next. She is coyly prepared to meet her future when sees BSD forces deployed but as I said she isn't aware. A naive one that she is, she has no idea that she walks to her life.
It was very interesting that she chose the mirror for herself. Mirror shows you your reflection, a glimpse of who you are and what adores you. In the tales of Lord Shiva there comes a chapter that introduces Sati to a rudraksh. That was the first instance when she was shown her future by nature. Drawing a parallelism from there Paro chooses that ornate mirror that'll show her, her future soon. The makers know how to keep hinting, subtly but surely, at the tales that show is a derivative of. Beautiful!!
The moment the scenes shifted to a part wherein Paro was in a plausible danger, I jumped up in excitement as it was a play by play form Shiva Purana!! The entire sequence unfolded itself and showed how their paths crossed with Rudra taking a stand, fighting a fight to finish. My oh my!! I really can't applaud the thought that has been given to making of every scene. The tales of Shiva state that once Sati was out with her mentor out in the forest when somehow she got separated and lost. Caught between the arms of dark forest she didn't knew what to do. Seeing her alone and lurking after her beauty Vritrasur attacked her. She cried and tried running away but to no avail. It was Shiva who came to her rescue. He pulled her to himself and shielded her behind him and took on Vritrasur who finally made an escape. Sati was mesmerized and held onto him, taking in the moment. Now tell did all of it not happen here in the series?? Creatives what should I do to tell you how much I am enjoying this series? The entire plot where Rudra runs to Paro's rescue so much so putting himself in danger speaks of a very refined thinking and implementation! I simply marvel the director and Aashish for pulling it perfectly. He could have easily gone overboard but he didn't. And that made the scenes deviously charming! Rudra never looks at Paro, he was there to perform his duty and that looks very realistic. And thank heavens there was no trip, fall, catch drama...else I swear on Mahadev I would have switched off my television.
Rudra holds Paro, protects her but never makes an effort to even look at the fragile thing that's shaking and holding onto him for her life. Both Sanaya and Aashish were perfect to the T! He maintained a stoic face while she did the vulnerable act and the scene spoke volumes!!
Next the action sequences were just too good! Aashish looks terribly good while performing them and add to that the background music of his and my heart is all set to go swoon and thud!! Tarun though had nothing to do today yet looked very intimidating in his shots. He really has a hefty screen presence that adds to his complex aura! Plus one for you, Thakur!!
Bindiya seemed, sorry to say, idiotic! How can she trust a wagon of three men to sail them safely?? I don't board an auto if the driver looks tharkii and here she happily began singing praises? Girl aren't you getting the news or what?
And also when Kajriraam made the snake gesture, trying to tell the girls that Nag Dev informed him of an impending marriage...to me it looked less of a snake and more of a Babaji ka Thullu!!
P.S. My dad liked the series!! He doesn't watch any Indian soap apart from Mahadev and the things he watches are pretty heavy stuff! I am so happy that there something on Indian Television apart from Mahadev that I can watch with him! Mhare baapusa ne serial pasand aa gayo, ab mhane aur kuch na chahii! Bolo Shiviji Mharaj ki jai!!😃😆
