Prads, you are right that this is the first show where everyone wants the leads to be separated so that both gain wisdom as both are very immature and both tend to brush their big mistakes as small misdemeanors. Neither Shlok nor Astha feels any great remorse for what they have done. Astha for the first time acknowledged that she is responsible for her father's downfall. But she still does not think that she wronged Shlok. Shlok also does not think that he wronged Astha because to him, she wronged him first and now he is paying her back. They showed his slight remorse too for the first time, where he is beginning to think that he did something wrong. But he has a really long way to go before he acknowledge all his mistakes.

Shlok really thinks of his baba's way as a way of life. He has put Niranjan on a pedestal because Niranjan is the one who is expressive and open about loving him. Shlok is a very emotional, expressive person and he is going to be attached to the one who can show him open affection. Since Anjali is distant from her kids (because of Niranjan), he worships him. Also for him corrupt ways of business world is how such things are done because he has not seen any other way. Also, it is sad but true that corruption in Business world is a common thing that it would not appear unusual to Shlok.

His baba still comes first for him. But Shlok has started to change especially when he was away from Niranajan's influence for last few days and was able to see Astha without any biases. That's why he showed remorse for the very first time at what he had done to Astha. People only change when they want to change. In Shlok's case, he does not even think that he has done any wrong to Astha or has lied to her. His lies to her so far had been temporary means to an end and in his opinion, he is not lying to Astha as his fake love was only for few months. He thought of himself as a wronged person who used some white lies (in his mind) to get back at Astha. But seeing Astha broken and disappointed in him woke up something in him where he genuinely felt that he committed a wrong to Astha by breaking a promise to her (of not sending her father to jail). Since it was confirmed that the call to send the file came from his office, he is now feeling guilty. Baba is not even on his mind. Also, Shlok never expected Astha to walk away from him in disgust. Now that he is on verge of losing Astha, it has shocked him. However, this shock is not yet enough for Shlok to change as Niranjan is ever present complete with dada's picture to emotionally manipulate Shlok.

this all also makes me wonder tht wheher NA s aware of wat Abhay n Sojal did?? bt he s jst keeping quiet coz they helped him indirectly to achieve wat he wants...how on earth he can demand tht second gift frm Anjali..how did he know tht this situation may occur where he can pressurize Astha in selecting her parents n her sasural wen she s in most vulnerable frame of mind..😕😕..i mean if this Avadhoot drama wouldnt hv happened..wat was d need for him to ask Anjali to get this vachan from Astha?? he could hv gone ahead with his subtle ways to control n supress Astha in Agni mansion?? i mean its all so confusing with all d possibilities ..i m going all i guess i need a sleep now..😉😆

I don't think that NA is yet aware of Abhay and Sojal collusion. I think he demanded this gift only because Abhay presented him this opportunity to rescue Avdhoot. Now that Avdhoot has been arrested because of corruption, it is easy for Anjali to ask Astha that she break off the contact with her father because of the harm to Agnihotri prestige. So this gift being demanded to be delivered on his birthday seems like a last minute plan. Otherwise, the severing of contacts was supposed to be a long-term project. Anjali had previously too extracted the promise from Astha never to contact her parents. But Astha broke it at that time. Just as Niranjan more than likely made Anjali sever her links to her parents over time, it was supposed to be done over next few months rather than this abruptly. The arrest worked in NA's favor as he can now speed it up.

Anyways..will stop here only n wont confuse u ppl any more..luved Avi's n Shrenu's acting today.. Yes, I did too and I enjoyed Manish and Geetanjali's acting too. Sachin (Vinayak), Samir (Varad), Shalmalee (Sojal), Prachi (Kalindi) and Tushaar (Avdhoot) were also good.

First thing i loved was the way the two "love birds" walked away from eachother, in opposite direction, and Shlok turning away..he is the weakest bewteen them two..he is more affected than he wants to show..Ashta though crying shes is determinated not to turn around, Astha is the stronger of the two...she has much more stronger value system which will pull her through situations. Shloke does not have that. bhut shlokie is darn angry shes walking away from him not looking back and hits the dirt with his leg..just like a kid who lost his toy..because he has been careless..😆😆 yep he lost his toy and he himself is to be blamed for it.😳 This image along with shlok shown shadowed by the setting Sun -this time his bestfriend defeated him, his destiny was controled by the sun god and not by himself- were reflecting shlokies inner conflict..he will blame sungod, moon god, sureash, the neighbourhood tea seller but will not accept that he himself is responsible for what happened. I know he did not involve the police but if he had not set up this case then all this would not have happened.

Second thing i loved was the way it was shown shloks reflection in the mirror while talking on the phone and then his reflection in suresh's glasses..Shlokie has two sides..his human side thats a rare sight and his alter ego, bad boy or angry young man who was shown today..yep...the Sun God scenes and the mirror scenes are usually my fav ones

Coming to the second famous couple of this show, anjali and neeranjan..today we got to know what were the two gifts he wanted, anjali's parents to leave the ashram on their "own will" and making ashta leave her parents forever..Neeranjan seems to want to isolate both the women, rip them off any consolation they may get from seeing their parents.Now that he got what he wanted from avdhoot he wants to punish the man by snaching his daughter from him forever.yes the fourth stage of Chanakya's principles. that is seperation.now i wonder what will b avdhoots reaction, will he comply to his wish as he got him out from jail or will he dare to say no and get his daughter home, away from the looney family?

Sojal-Varad-Kavya scene, it was an example of how kids are neglected /ignored in a tipical agnihorti familly, sojal is more aware of varads needs and covering her mistake of spealing the news to the papers..though smth is different, varad consoles his daughter..i dnt think NA would have shown affection to him shlokie or jyothi..Now i wonder what will happen to sojal when varad will know abt her loose mouth and connection with abhay..Also Varad wants to get into Neeranjan's good books so whom will he choose...himself or Sojal?

Ashta reaches home and cries a river in her family's arms, shes ready to tell them about shlok but kalindi sings NA's praises and she is now confused..i wish her dad tells her on which condition he was bailed..so she can stop thinking daddy is a good boy and shlokie the bad one.but then from where will the drama come?😉

On the other side, shlok is pouring all his anger on the shaking leaf suresh, poor thing was trebling in his claws..shlok shouts so much at suresh that one could see almost all his 32 perfect teeth..seriously he looked like some wounded ferucious wild animal that roars at the one who inflicted the wound..too bad he caught the wrong person..

Watching this episode it gave me this feeling that Agnihotri clan and Aashlok has taken steps towards a new track in their life..
