EBp is taking us on a roller coaster ride of emotions in the new year and today's was an emotion packed episode that conveyed conflicts in a series of human relationships...
-- between a relentless daughter and grieving old parents😭
-- between two people deeply in love whose cloud of hate and misunderstanding has engulfed
their true feelings for each other..😳
-- between an egotistic dominating husband and a subservient wife seething with feelings of supressed anger ...😡🤢
-- the emotions between a man, woman and child and the emotional craving of a child to be in a tension free atmosphere ...😲
the episode begins with the very touching scene of Anjali going to the old age ashram to distribute gifts for the elders and returning with the first gift for her dear hubby - the dislocation of her old parents and a signed stamped document that they are leaving of their oown free will - a sad and very uncomfortable scene and anjali's expressionless face hiding more than it revealed - i wonder what really is this whole stroy that is making anjali the way she is ??😕 waiting to know more ...
and then the superb ashlok scene with the setting sun as the backdrop - with shlok in his most persuasive and as yet unheard voice and expression, telling aastha that he was not responsible for the arrest and adding - you know me - if i had done it, i would tell it directly to your face - i did not do it - and moreover, i was with you throughout" and why would i do something with which my Baba's self respect and pride is attached - this is also an insult to my baba" he adds.
but ofcourse, emotional and deeply hurt aastha as usual is in no mood to think or listen - she shouts back that she knows him very well and he wld have done it etc - there are no ties binding them anymore - neither hate not love - so she will be parting ways with him - beautiful scene with the sad song saiyan ve playing full after a long time - it is a beautiful song -
and shlok looking back twice hoping against hope that aastha will also turn back - she stops and almost turns back, but the bad things shlok did to her and the SR scene flashback makes her stop and she goes off without turning back - the setting sun indicating that shlok has for once lost his contest with the sun and he has to wait for daylight again to bounce back .. ...
and again avi and shrenu have acted brilliantly with superb expressions - probably they were destined to play shlok and aastha - they are so into their roles and they are a treat to watch...
and again aastha makes a hasty decision to tell her family the truth only to retract her decision when she returns to a teary re-union and finds out that its NA who has saved her baba - and her monologue " how can such a good man have such a gira hua beta "etc - and kalindi's ironical comment on how wrong she was about shlok and aastha's family and how right aastha was in marrying shlok -😕
EBP is really brilliant for its choice of ironical situations for ironical dialogues👏
again the NA anjali scene and NA's return gift to his wife - start wearing your slippers now - for granting him the b'day gift of her parents disappearance - anjali's hate and defiance is well
expressed by geetanjali in this scene and manish ofcourse is excellent as usual
and then shlok back to his shlokie angry avatar - collars a poor frightened suresh and wants to know who was responsbile for the arrest - so it is clear now he only wanted to frighten aastha and not do anything else ...
so what was NA's plan then ??? 😕
and Varad likely to clue in to who is behind the media spill out with sojal getting scared that her beans will spill😆 and the scene with kavya was very touching ... children hate it when parents fight isnt it?
and the pre-cap - anjali asking for one more jal promise (whats with the A house and all their jal prathas ???🤢😕) -
so NA's second gift is not to throw aastha out but to make sure she break all ties with her maikey - well it looks like he may lose out on this gift for the present, but things may go his way or atleast shlok's way soon maybe -
EBp has become very interesting and a really great watch😛
