One watch, an earring and a broken flowerpot.

Aside from Gopi, who admits everything we have Kinjal, Urmila and my chief suspect Tripti unless something tells me otherwise.

Could Kinjal or Urmila be the killer? I am inclined to say no.

The watch may well be Kinjal's. How did it get into Umaang's room? Flashback to earlier in the day when Kinjal confronted Umaang. I believe that it was in his room. He had forcibly held her by the wrists. The watch could have fallen off then.

The earring and the broken flowerpot. Urmila may be bad but she is comical and petty, not murderous. I think she was snooping in the room for some reason and hid behind the curtain to save her from being found out. The pot could have broken while she tried to make her escape.

Apart from Gopi and Tripti everyone else was receiving the bharatis. I am convinced that it was Tripti who shouted before running off, Gopi found the body is in shock and readily agreed to the murder.

Wonder who the cvs will pin this on?

Oh the suspense...

yaa very possible that Kinjals watch fell off when Umang misbehaved with her...

Or I was thinking maybe Urmila stole her watch...

Yes the earing found was Urmilas and it was near the window...agree she would've been doing some kind of kk and when she heard someone coming she jumped out the window to escape...when Umangs body was brought down Urmila was seen coming from outside too...

And that scar...

But I wonder why Urmila was so scared and didn't want anyone to find dat earing??? Hmm must've been upto mischief...but I don't think she is the murderer...

What I thought had happened was maybe Kinjal had gone into Umang's room earlier to look for him because she was exasperated and enraged at him for behaving so rudely to Dhawal. However, Kinjal was unsuccessful at finding Umang. She left the room but her wristwatch dropped onto the floor. Later on Urmila enters Umang's room (not sure why) and she gets very nervous at seeing Umang's dead body. So that nobody will catch her and think she had murdered Umang, she escapes by climbing out of the window and since maybe her earring was put on very loosely, it comes of her ear and falls onto the ground. And while escaping, she drops the flowerpot by mistake.

This is my theory on why these evidences are found in Umang's room. I think that Urmila nor Kinjal is the murderer even if they might have had a reason for killing Umang or if their valuables were found in Umang's room. Great post by the way :)

Thank you. This plot is bringing out the sleuths in all of us. 😃 And an excellent deduction 😃. Kinjal had a reason to kill Umaang but like my reasoning that Urmila could not be the killer, I feel that it is not Kinjal. So the question is:who is Gopi shielding? Dhawal? Or did she stumble upon the body and is in shock?

No problem :) I think that maybe Gopi thinks she is the murderer when really somebody else is the murderer...
