Update 2nd April 2007

Brief Update:

• Rai doesn't talk to Vasu all morning… seeing this, Vasu is sad, Vedant and Shreya try to cheer her up
• Shushant declares that he will marry Vasu no matter what
• Rai keeps changing is attitude towards shushant and Vasu over the day.. He treats shushant badly, but as soon as Vasu reaches the office, he changes his tone and asks Shushant to join him for lunch. Shushant hesitatingly agrees.
• Devyani warns Rai that Vasu might suffer, Rai asks her to teach him whats right
• Devani reminds him of the time when she had all the right on him, but Rai replies that there WAS a time, and its all over now
• Sinha calls Rai to remind him about Shushant. Rai says that Shushant will be taken care off…

Detailed Update:

At night, vasu wakes up vedika, who is asleep on the couch, saying that the party is over, its 2am, and she should go sleep inside… vedika mummers something that the party was so much fun.. Vasu says that shushant isn't picking up the phone, and dad isn't talking to anyone after the party, may be something happened in the library.. Vedika says that that, that's her destiny, she will have to chose between her hitler dad and her intelligent boy friend… vasu gets sad..

At morning, vasu is shocked to see Rai eating breakfast, she adds that if he had to get up early, she wouldn't go the temple, rai doesn't answer, and signals her to keep quite, he talks on the phone to someone.. Vasu says that she has read the new project, and… he replies that she can go ahead with the project, and she doesn't need to accpany him of the meeting.. Vasu gets shocked.. Vedika comes in and asks why everyone is so quite??? Rai gets up and leaves.. Vasu sadly stands.. Dadi asks her whats wrong.. Vasu says that this is the first time dad has left without saing anything, has eatn his breakfast alone, has gone out of the house, and don't give his blessings… dadi asks her to not worry..

Rai is in his car and remembers what happened last night between him and Sinha… he also remembers shushant telling him that he will marry vasu no matter what… rai reaches the office and asks pandey to send shushant is, padney says that he can do the work too, rai sternly asks him to do his own work and to send shushant in.. the journalit comes there, and asks whats wrong.. Padney asks him to find shushant…

Vasu is in th ekitchen and is in a bad mood… vedant teases her about shushant… vasu asks him to stop it.. Vedika comes there and says that she is sad that dad didn't bless her.. And may be she will trun like her (vedika).. She stands near shreya.. Shreya covers her nose.. Vedika leaves.. Shreya asks vasu that since didi knows that drinking is bad, then why does she do it? Vasu doesn't answer… vedant tries to make her smile… and picks up an apple and says that may be this apple is dirty, but he will still eat it.. He is about to eat.. Vasu is still lost in her thoughts.. Vedant asks her if she wont stop him from eating a bad apple? Vasu comes back to reality and looks at him and pints a knife at him, saying that she will kill him if he eats the apple, and asks shreya to go and study.. Vedant and shreya are overjoyed by her response..

Rai and shushant face each other.. Shushant insists that his report should be published, rai says that that wants his professional and persona relationships to be different.. Shushant replies that his report is professional, but he is making it personal.. And he did come home to talk about personal things but.. Rai says that he isn't here to listen to his personnel things, and that his time isn't so cheap that he can spend it like that.. He adds that he knows what shushant wants, but wont let him have it.. Shushant asks him to not test his needs.. Rai asks him to not test his patience.. Shushant adds that if they both clash, Vasu will be broken.. Rai asks him to shut up and asks him to get vasu into this.. Shushant replies that Vasu is already a part of this… Just then Vasu walks in, Rai changes his tone… and tells Vasu that she will live a long life, as they were just talking about her.. Shushant says that he will leave.. Rai stops him and asks him to sit down and have lunch with him.. Shushant looks at him angrily.. Vasu says that she will be back later if they need to talk, she'll come back later… Rai stops her.. He also asks shushant to eat with them, and says that does he have to make him sit?? Shushant looks at and then looks at Vasu.. Shshant sits down.. Vasu tells rai that today she has made his favorite.. Rai says that sometimes she should make what she likes too… They both start eating.. Rai continues to taunt both of them and have a fake laugh… Rai and Shushant both reach out to the last Roti,, They both stare at each other… Vasu looks confused and scared and looks at the Roti.. just then Devani comes and takes it.. Devani says that sorry, she was hungry.. Shushant says that its ok, as boss is being too generous with his employees.. Vasu smiles.. And he thanks rai for lunch and adds that he should actually thank vasu, and she is so concerned about the things he likes too… he is about to leave.. Rai stops him and says that he has one thing that he left behind.. He gives shushant his identity card, shushant remembers dropping it down when he went to get the video of Sinha's guy.. Rai asks him to be careful with this card, and this card has his name on it too and wouldn't want him to loose this card by being careless…

Vasu goes to Devyani and thanks her being there on the last minute… Devyani says that she wont be there all the time to save her… devyani says that the two men she loves, are against each other, and she hopes that she (Vasu) wont have to choose between them… vasu says that she is confused about what went wrong.. Devyani laughs that sneaking into everyone's life, is her hobby and profession, but she doesn't do that for her close friends… Devyani asks her to not not let her choose sides, as Rai is her boss and shushant is her best friend, however, she (vasu) doesn't have the right…

Pandey asks Rai if he is worried.. Rai says that he knows why is he worried.. Pandey laughingly says that he cannot control Shushant… Rai says that then what is he doing as a chief editor? He should give up his post then.. Pandey says that the world too knows that he carries his resignation letter wherever he goes.. Pandey takes out the letter is about to sign it, just then Devyani walks in and says that she needs to talk to him about some report… Pandey asks Rai as, what to do about the thing he has in his hand.. Rai asks him to keep it where it was… They both smile at each other… Pandey leaves the room.. Devyani tells Rai that she has a story… Rai says that he doesn't have time for this… Devyani says that the story is about a woman needs to choose between her duties and her love.. asks her if she came to talk only about that.. Devyani says that she needs to talk about Vasu.. The fight is between him and Shushant so why should Vasu suffer?? Rai gets angry and says that no one has the right to talk to him about his decisions.. Devyani gets emotional and says that there was once a time when he liked that.. And he was the one who gave her that right.. Rai sternly says that, there WAS a time… and the time has gone and she is nothing now.. Devyani walks out the room, stands in a coridor and thinks that she knows that Rai will use anyone, just the way she used him… but now this time his own daughter will suffer…

Sinha's man comes there and tells him that Rai might not stop the printing of the report.. Sinha gets shocked.. The man says that rai had said that he will stop Shushant, but he hasn't.. Rai will not change what he has decided.. Sinha gets angry and thinks that how dare does he do that… Sinha calls Rai, and says that he is speechless.. Rai questions him.. Siha says that he will do something now, and he hasn't done something about the reporter, and even the time is up, and now he will have to do something about this.. Rai says that he doesn't need to do anything, he remembers his promise, and asks him to wait for the news about Shushant's accident.. Sinha hands up.. Rai looks Angrily..
