These are the literal "pains" that participants of Nach Baliye 6 have incurred in their bids to yes, learn dance! While NB is no stranger to injuries, the ongoing season of the celebrity reality show has garnered enough accident-related khoon and paseena on it's name to be hailed as jinxed. Nakuul Mehta and Jankee
Nakuul and wife Jankee shot the show's promo. Shortly after, Jankee went to Hong Kong and all hell broke loose. She fell on the escalator and hurt her knee so bad that she was advised bed rest for two months! Result? The couple had to back out of the show.
Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi
This Pavitra Rishta couple got hurt while performing. While Rithvik hurt his eyebrows and incurred five stitches, Asha had to get 12 stitches for a chin injury. They had to undergo a microscopic plastic surgery to remove the scars.
Ripudaman Handa and Shivangi Verma
The Masterchef winner suffered a hairline fracture on his hand during rehearsals with girlfriend Shivangi. A miscalculated lift cost the cute chef his hand, which was then bandaged up in a sling.
Raju Srivastava and Shikha
Shikha, the comedian's wife suffered a ligament tear on her leg during rehearsals. She was being carted around as part of a performance and on landing she hurt her leg. She then performed on a wheelchair in one of her acts.
Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee
Debina injured her 8th and 9th ribs and fractured her 10th rib during an aerial act in which she was required to pull Gurmeet from the ground. Although she had dismissed the pain initially, an X-ray and MRI scan revealed how serious the issue was. Now she wears a rib belt to rehearsals, and might even bow out of the show.
Ankur Ghai and Kanika Maheshwari
The Diya Aur Baati Hum girl is the latest entrant to the wounded club. Kanika fractured her left toe and both knees while rehearsing on Christmas. She was required to do a hand stand, followed by a lift. Although she's been advised rest, she hopes to continue performing.
