^^ Nah...both are wrong.... Gavaskar's wrong comment doesnot justify Ian Chappel's behaviour...Chappel has no right to advice what Sachin should do.

and also another point that one must not forget that the players know very well that if they have the contracts and the money its BECAUSE OF THEIR PERFORMANCE and if they do not perform well they may lose their money so why would they not want to play well.

Bottom line is that NONE OF THE PLAYERS PLAYED BADLY ON PURPOSE. It was just not India's day. I am sure they will gather themselves and live upto all our expectations very soon.:)

Actually the whole fault lies in the BCCI system. A whole lot of shuffling should take place there first, then everything will be fine. And also, the players should not be allowed to do endorsements, then only they will pay more attention to their game. And youngsters should be given more chance.

same needs to b done in the PCB too!
