"Um, if you've followed Subhash K. Jha's articles, the guy's pretty anti-Ranveer for some reason. Ranveer might have denied him an interview or something early on, and Jha's held a grudge. (Remember that poisonous post he wrote about Madhuri on her birthday a few years ago?) He gave him a good review for RL, but that probably has more to do with his friend, SLB.

Also, someone has plenty of money to plant articles against Ranveer every couple weeks, and it's always nonsense like this. Like, "We can't make him look bad on account of his acting or professionalism, so let's try and make him a laughingstock." If people keep inviting him to parties, and if Aamir Khan is willing to dance with him despitr not knowing him too well, I doubt he's that annoying in social environments."

I think if Ranveer was a star kid, the media would welcome the competition to Ranbir Kapoor. But Ranveer is an outsider and suddenly is being talked about more and more as a contender for the throne. Not only that, Ranveer is doing it quicker than anyone could have imagined. Critical and commercial success so early in his career. Add to that his relationship with Deepika. That is making a lot of people unhappy. That is why the're is this narrative being forced through of Ranveer being a lovestruck lapdog and Deepika3 being the disinterested ice princess. Nothing could be further from the truth but it serves an agenda to portray them that way. It really is very interesting how Ranveer has shaken things up this year, in more ways than one.
