Shraddha and Kunal confessed their love for each other. When Kritika got to know of their relationship, she tried to help Shraddha and Kritika. However, she didn't keep Anand in the loop.

Shraddha and Kunal go to the temple to get married when the entire family turns up there. Zorawar asks Shraddha to choose between him and Kunal, and Shraddha chooses her father. However, this entire scene creates a rift between Kritika and Anand. While Anand is aghast that Kritika lied to him, Kritika is seen trying to explain to him.

In a fit of anger, Anand leaves Kritika at her mother's place. Kunal is upset with Shraddha as because of them, Kritika and Anand separated. More recently, after Anand decided to get Kritika back, he gets to know that Kamini insulted Shraddha. This further angers him.
