Naren is still teaching Kinnari the game on his mobile, saying Jump jump, Left! The elder Nadkarnis and Karmarkars return to the room after the house tour.

Sunanda comments, See, this is the modern generation, they just met and already vibe so well! You need compatibility like this for a marriage!

She asks Naren what did he think ? He gets confused, asks was he supposed to think abt something?

Sunanda says, About marriage? Everyone looks at Naren, waiting for his answer, he looks at Ankita.

Naren looks at Raunak who signals him to say yes.

Naren tells Sunanda hes totally ready for marriage!

Rushali and Ankita are shocked!

Sunanda is delighted, she tells Nadkarnis that it's a yes from their side so now what is their decision?

Rushali says, One minute! She signals to Ankita to take Naren upstairs. Ankita tells Naren to come upstairs with her. Naren tells everybody that Ahana is calling so he has to go with her.

Hes continuously playing games on his mobile as he says bye to everybody and tells them to have lauki before the leave.

Anki and Naren go upstairs but Ankita lingers on the stairs.

Rushali tells the Nadkarnis, she knows Tayi has told them abt everything abt Naren's health but she wants them to know that Naren has been sick for last 2 years, hes in some kind of shock! Nobody knows what happened, we don't know how he will react in some situations! He has to be taken care of all the time, given medicines, injections on time. Its not easy taking care of him!

Rushali says, Theres another thing, so far we have kept Naren's insanity hidden from the world and now that ur forming a relation with us, then u also will have to...u know, you understand?

The Nadkarnis nod. She continues, there are a lot of complications so after knowing all this if you reject the proposal then...and today Naren was quite normal, when he gets his attacks, its hard to control him. Sometimes we have to keep him tied for 2 whole days! Right?

She looks at Sunanda who just says Rushali! Mr. Nadkarni says, you have been so honest with us, then theres no question of rejecting this proposal. Transparency is important in any relationship which u have done! And as far as Naren's illness is concerned, then we have full faith in our daughter! She will cure Naren with her love and caring. We like your son and accept this proposal.

Rushali looks disappointed, Ankita hears all this from the stairs and looks sad and disturbed. Rauank grins at the success of his plan.

Sunanda smiles, says this is very good news indeed! Rushali, aren't u happy?

Mr. Nadkarni says that since everything is fixed, he wants to do the sagai that evening!

Rushali protests, this evening? How is that possible? We have to send invitations, get people..

Sunanda interrupts, Rushali, don't be so worried! Everything will be managed! Fine, Mr. Nadkarni, the engagement will be held this evening!

Ankita is shocked to hear this. Raunak sits and smiles, thinks, what a situation, yaar! Now prepare to return to ur chawl, Ankita Madam! You got me fired from the office naa? Now I will get you thrown out of this house!

Ankita sadly goes up the stairs, song Peeda Majhya plays in the background.

Shirish-Rushali's bedroom

Rushali is pacing about in a disturbed manner. She tells Shirish, whatever she had planned, everything is going opposite of that! She couldn't understand why did they say yes to the engagement? How could they?

Shirish frets, how did Naren say yes to the engagement? God! Totally unexpected! Rushali says she has to stop this engagement! He tells her to use her mind. They cannot stop the engagement now, if they did then Tayi would be furious and they knew her anger very well!

Rushali turns around and says she knows very well that Tayi will be furious, otherwise why would they put up with all this?

Raunak comes into the room and tells her Attu is calling her downstairs, he also says, Mom, theres no use having tension, Attu's decision is final decision. Now this engagement will take place!

Rushali berates him, Use your brains sometimes, Raunak! Naren is already married!

Raunak acts cheeky, Sorry Mom, I had forgotten that brother was already married! Lets go and tell Attu...poor thing is making so many plans! Why? What happened? Don't u have the guts to tell her? How will you tell her? Come on Mom, whats not in ur control, why waste ur energy worrying abt that? Whatever is happening just let it happen! You know u cant do anything abt it!

Rushali looks exasperated, Raunak leaves. Ankita is waiting outside the door, he smirks at her and leaves.

Sunanda's room

Shes taking out jewelry sets, looking very happy. Naren goes there and says, Attu! What is all this?

She tells him these are jewelry for ur bride. Naren says but she already has so many ...

Sunanda says, Stupid! She might have lots of jewelry but this is special!

Naren takes out the huge pearly necklace, asks whats special abt this? Attu tells him that's their ancestral Queen necklace! She wouldn't be having this, I had saved this for my bahu (DIL) today I will give this necklace to ur bride.

Mobile rings, Naren tells Attu its her phone. Sunanda goes to answer her call, Naren takes the necklace box and sneaks out of the room behind her. Shes unaware of it as she talks on her mobile.

Shirish and Rushali were coming out of their room they see Ankita standing there. Rushali tells Shirish to go ahead, she will come later.

Ankita tells Rushali, Madam I admit Naren sir and my wedding was just a compromise. But our relationship is not fake. We had God as witness as we did the 7 circles around the fire, Naren sir put mangalsutra on my neck, he put sindoor on my forehead. However or whatever he is like, hes still my husband! How can he do a second marriage?

Rushali tells her, she understands her feelings really! Ankita asks, you understand? If u did then all this wouldn't happen! Till now I have followed all ur orders, u told me to become Ahana from Ankita, then become his nurse, I did all that! But what did u do? You had said that those people wont agree to this proposal. But what happened? They came, they said yes and went away! It seems now I will have to do the drama of being the other woman!

Rushali begs her to listen to her for one last time!

A servant comes and tells Rushali that Sunanda has called both of them downstairs.

Rushali tells him theyre coming. She reassures Ankita that she will do anything but she wont let this marriage happen. She promises her that! But for one last time, Ankita has to help her as this engagement will take place, this cannot be stopped now! Please!

Rushali goes to Sunanda's room who is telling Shirish that shes always dreamed of this day and shes very happy. Rushali asks her if she summoned her...Sunanda says she knows everything is happening too fast, theres no time to make preparations. But don't worry, Rushali, she had already made some arrangements! Just a minute!

Sunanda brings a bag and says, Naren will wear this for the engagement. Im sure u will like my choice!

Rushali and Shirish force smiles. Ankita is watching this from the door. Sunanda sees her and asks, You? Did u give medicines to Naren? Ankita nods. Sunanda says, Good, remember this evening its Naren's engagement! Its very important that hes in a good mood at that time, I don't want any problems! See to it! That's ur responsibility!

Ankita nods silently. Sunanda says she wants to make this engagement memorable!

She shows Ankita the clothing bag, saying these are Naren's clothes, rushali takes it from her and gives it to Ankita who looks very sad but takes the bag and leaves.

Panchgani Bungalow

Purvi is putting on earrings in her bedroom. Arjun opens the door and stands there looking at her. She sees him and goes towards him, he comes closer, both look at each other for a long time.

Arjun asks if he can get a safety-pin? Purvi says, safety pin? Yes, one second!

She goes to the dressing table, opens the drawer and gives him a safety pin. Arjun falters, Actually Ovi has...

Ovi comes to the door and says, Arjun, youre taking so much time to bring one pin?

She tells Purvi, actually her blouse hook broke, thanks for the pin! She tells Arjun to put the pin in her blouse. She turns around, Arjun puts the pin in her blouse, Purvi turns around.

Ovi asks, What happened, Purvi?

Purvi turns around and says, Nothing! Ovi tells her, You know I had brought a lot of dresses, but Arjun loves red saris so I wore this! By the way ur also wearing a red sari! Is it because Arjun likes...anyway why am I saying all this? Arjun come with me naa and help me choose matching sandals with this!

Ovi leaves the room, Arjun pauses at the door to stare at Purvi who looks hurt and disturbed. He closes the door.

Naren's house:

Sunanda is shocked, What are u saying, Shirish? Its Naren's engagement and youre saying no guests will come?

Shirish says its being done in such a hurry that theres no time to invite anybody! We will try to invite as many people as possible!

Rushali says, Tayi u know Naren's condition, we don't know when he will lose control and create a scene so its better not to have crowds!

Shirish says, Tayi u know Mumbai life, everything is so hectic! If u don't invite guests beforehand then nobody can come! Everyone has prior commitments so...

Sunanda agrees, Fine! I understand ur problems! Actually I had thought we will invite the whole city as its Naren's engagement, we will celebrate! However many guests come today we wil make this occasion memorable for all of us! Fine! Okay then lets be ready before the guests arrive?

She leaves, Rushali and Shirish sit down, Rushali says, My God, how long will this go on? How long is she staying here? I cannot breathe! Im feeling suffocated! I cant be like an obedient child before her, with my hands tied! Please just do something!

Shirish says, No Rushali! I can understand! But Im also helpless! I mean I cant say anything before Tayi..

Rushali chides him, if u had taken the right decisions in life at the right time, then we wouldn't be so helpless today! Even if not the company at least this house would have been in our name!

Shirsh says, Please Rushali, don't remind me of all that repeatedly! Im paying for that one mistake till today!

Rushali says, and we are all suffering the consequences of that mistake till today! If Raunak and Naren weren't there, at least for their sake, Tayi has some sympathy for us! Im feeling so helpless! Shes taking such big decions of my son's life! And I? just do something please, I cant continue like this!

Shirish agrees silently. Both look very upset.

Naren's bedroom

Ankita comes in and flings the bag of sagai clothes on the bed. She tells Naren brusquely to wear those clothes. Naren shows her hes winning the game on his i-Pad. He tells her he has a surprise for her. He takes out the necklace and shows it to her, saying this is our heirloom necklace, Attu was going to give it to u, but I thought since its so special then why don't I give it to u?

He takes out the necklace and holds it at her neck, asks her, Did u like it, Ahana?

She pushes away the necklace and says, Ahana? Im not Ahana! My name is Ankita! We got married to each other but that was just a compromise! I wanted to save the future for my siblings, that's all! Our marriage is just a compromise still I tried to save it! I respected it, but what did I get in return? Im more lonely now than before! I don't have any dear ones here, no family here so whoever comes here forces me to do something! I don't have any identity here, nor do I have any presence. That's why sometimes Im ur wife, sometimes ur nurse, sometimes Im Ahana! Anyone can call me by any name, you too! Today u call me Ahana, tomorrow someone else will call me something else! You all are rich naa so u can do whatever u like! When u want u bring someone into ur life, when u want then throw that person out! It doesn't make any difference to you all! But it does make a difference to me! But why shd u care abt all this? I have to accept all this because Im poor! But Sir, if I didn't have any obligations to fulfil then I would never be with you! Please Sir, please leave from here...I don't want to talk to you! What do u think? U will buy me with this necklace?

She grabs the necklace from his hands and throws it on the floor! She says, do u think my life will change with this necklace? My life will never change! Do u know why? Because ur not capable of changing my life! When I married u I knew it would be very hard to live with you but I never thought it would be so difficult! All the people in ur family are selfish and cunning! Everyone is just fulfilling their own self interests! Nobody respects any relationships in the family! That's why they dont value a mangalsutra, or sindoor, everyone is just selfish to the core! They only think abt themselves! They got a doll named Ankita whom theyre using to fulfil their own selfish agenda. If I had a family then this would never happen to me!

Ankita is raging and crying, Naren is watching her with a confused look. He tells her he made a mistake! Ankita rages at him, tells him to leave her alone. She doesn't want to see his face! Hes also just like the rest! She had thought at least he would be different! But he also thinks only of his own self interests!

He also turned out to be selfish! When she married him she thought he had some unique qualities. That's why she went against her own family and stuck with him! But he didn't think even once before agreeing to getting married again? He didn't think abt how she would feel? He turned out just like his family! Totally selfish!

Naren says, Ahana you...she scoffs, Ahana! After marriage a girl has to change her name, mine also changed but my whole life changed too! Neither am I someone's wife, nor a daughter, nor someone's bahu! I don't have any parents! Ahana! Who is this Ahana?

Naren says, But you are Ahana! Why are u saying this, Ahana?

She throws the necklace box from his hand and screams, I am not Ahana! Don't u understand? Im not ur Ahana! Im getting irritated seeing you, please leave from here! Please go somewhere I cant find you, I don't want to see ur face!

Naren gets upset, he says, Ok Ahana, if u wil be happy if I leave then...

Ankita screams hysterically, yes I will be very happy! So please go far away from me! I don't want to live with you!

She leaves the room in a rush. Naren looks sad.
