Diya Aur Baati Hum written update for 24th December 2013

Sandhya gets a call from Hyderabad Police Academy asking her to report for training in a day. Daisa comforts Bhabho and Suraj and others return back after Bhabhasa's tests are complete. Suraj informs Bhabho that they have to wait till the reports come. Sandhya tells Suraj that she wants to talk something important and they go from there.

Meena and Emily bring tea but Vikram and Suraj refuse to drink it. Suraj and Sandhya convince other family members to take Bhabho home and rest and they will take care of Bhabhasa. Chavvi reminds Sandhya that she has to go for training. Sandhya tells her decision of not going for training. All the family members convince Sandhya to go while Bhabho is observing silently. Finally, Sandhya is firm in her decision of not going for training. Bhabho is moved by her decision and all others except SurYa go home.

SurYa are with Bhabhasa now. Suraj gets a flashback of their convo a while before. Sandhya tells him that she has decided not to go for training and asks him to tell honestly what would he do if he was in her position. Suraj answers he would not go but asks her to go for training as he would manage everything but Sandhya convinces him that she would not repent for this decision. Flashback ends and Sandhya tells Suraj that she will mail the academy about her nonreporting.

In house, Vikram is comforting Bhabho. She asks them to have dinner and take rest as they need to leave to the hospital early in the morning. Later, they get a call and Bhabho attends it. She is tense and calls Vikram and others and asks them to take her to hospital immediately.

Sandhya is mailing the academy and is about to send when Bhabho stops her and informs that Bhabhasa's reports have come normal and she can go for training without any tension.

Precap: Looks like Bhabhasa is discharged from hospital. Meena reminds Bhabho about SurYa going to be separated for 11 months.
