Was the procedure right?

i didn't get what daddu said today...he said that they only found anup's uinform and someone'sdead body which was so destroyed that no one was able to recognize it...i mean if shekhars were confused about the dead body shouldn't they have done some kind of medical verification of dead body which says proves who the dead body is...since i am not much aware about army rpocedures can anyone tell me about it

Anup is said to have 'died' about 25 years ago- at that time today's medical procedures like DNA test were not common. As regards army procedures- even creatives are not much aware- in fact they are not much aware about any profession except saas-bahu saga.
