Staging is very important in setting up expectations of the viewers and capture their attention with the story telling that meet those expectations, today's episode is a perfect anchor episode in setting up that stage. All the players are very strategically placed and revealed to the viewers with open interpretations and now it is time for CVs to weave the screenplay for the characters to come together and emerge in to a beautiful tale.
Multiple tracks with set players are established with Zoya as the focal point, how will these stories intertwine and what secrets are to be revealed and what equations would change is up in the air and left to the viewers imagination and if well executed will strike the bull's eye.
Tracks and interpretations:
Humaira sensing something off with Haider could be a major turning point in the game agianst Razia if Haider confess the truth and Humaira turns in to a surprise pal of Haider against her own parents benefit.
Najma pep talk to Nikhat is well timed and now she is willing to act on her fate, it could be helping Samaira and bring Haseena to justice or sacrificing her love for Farhan or Samaira, whatever it is that would be her choice, she will be in control of her life and end up as a strong and content women.
Zoya and Gaffy face off is the best of all, Asad might have transferred property to Zoya or gave her power of attorney to ensure no one questions her stay at SM but it will turn out to be a blockbuster move when she comes to know about her daddy secret and that would erupt in to high voltage drama as Zoya will be the empire of the game being played by her father and soulmate and she will be torn between Gaffy and Asad in announcing the winner.
I am happy with the way today's episode shaped the story ahead and in lieu of it, I can forgive CVs for not showing the main lead and delay in ASYA Nikah. Mind you, I will never forgive CVs for ZOYAAN though, they won't even get concession if they don't invalidate the crap called Zoyaan sooner than later. No wonder I don't miss Ayaan.
Now the raise in TRPs is solely dependent on execution as now story is fixed and acting was never an issue with the cast.
