Industrywalla: Is Deepika Padukone Still In Love With Ranbir Kapoor?

Are Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone on speaking terms? Did they break up? Is she still in love with him?

The response: Now this is one tricky question! Out of the three questions you sent, the most obvious answer is to the second one, YES! Ranbir and Deepika had a very public break-up.

As far as your first question goes, RK and Deepika aren't really on talking terms. They are expected to be civil in public, but the two have maintained a certain distance now that they both are in seperate relationships - RK withKatrina Kaif and Deepika with Ranveer Singh! During the promotion of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, it was imperative for the two to be in touch and travel together for their film.

Also, Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji made sure there was no awkwardness between them. However, RK and Dippy aren't in touch on a regular or daily basis as any other couple who breaks up!

Your last question is quite sensitive and not very easy to answer. Getting over someone you really loved is difficult! Actors are like us, they too have emotions, they get insecure, jealous, find it tough to move on. From what I know of Deepika, she still harbours a special place for RK and always will no matter who she is in a relationship with. RK is someone she won't replace with anyone else.

But she has made an attempt to move on and truly likes Ranveer and enjoys his company. Only time will tell if she has been able to heal the wounds of her past and moved on to a much happier and fruitful relationship!
