Update 29th March 2007

The party is on… shushant goes to rai, and says that he had to talk to him something important.. Rai says that he was sorry he couldn't talk to him in the morning, and smiles and says that vasu told him everything.. Shushant is shocked.. Rai says that vasu wanted to convince him first.. Shushant gets shocked… rai laughs.. Shushant asks him what he thinks? Rai says that he has nothing against his kid's wishes… shushant asks if this questions wasn't difficult for him? Rai says that well it wasn't easy.. Both laugh.. Sushant is still confused…. Rai keeps teasing him and says that he knew this before.. Vasu comes there and asks him to maken the announcement, vasu goes with him, but rai asks her to stay back, as its his turn to talk… vasu wonders whats the matter.. Sushant pokes fun at her… rai goes up on the stares and faces everyone… he thanks everyone for coming, and says that today is a sp. Day as her daughter has made him proud and as every father wishes, he too wants his pride to make him proud.. And he is to make an announcement, for which vasu has waited a long time… sushant and vasu tease each other cutely… rai makes an announcement, everyone await anxiously.. Rai announces that he is realeasing his biography which vasu wrote.. Shushant gets shocked.. Vasu is a little shocked, yet happy.. Rudraksh and his dad gets upset.. Rai calls vasu.. Shushant gets angry and walks away… rudraksh keeps looking at them sternly… sushant turns back, rai says that he cant take away vasu's share of shine, and asks the reporters to take pics of vasu…

Shushant stands in a corner.. Rai comes to him.. And asks him if he is ok.. Shushant coldly answers that he is ok.. Rai asks him sarcastically - how was the book knowledge, shushant says - ok.. Rai smiles and says that it doesn't seem so from his face and voice tone.. Shushant says that he thought that the news was related to vasu's happiness.. Shushnat says that the book is vasu's happiness… and he knows what his daughters want, and he also knows what to approve and what to not approve for vasu's happiness.. Shushant looks sternly at him…

Just then we see Sinha the minister coming in, he goes straight to Rai and asks him to meet him alone… rai says that they can talk later.. Sinha angrily asks him to talk to him this moment… they both go in the study room… vasu asks shushant why is he upset? Shushant says that her dad feels the same thing, both father and daughter are the same…

Rai tells Sinha that they are blaming him.. Sinha says that he isn't blaming, but wants to know if there is a guy named shushant.. Rai gets concerned and says that yes, Sinha adds that the guy is investigating against them.. Rai gets shocked.. There shusant tells vasu that he loves her too, but knows that Rai keeps finding an excuse to make him look bad.. Vasu argues that her father doesn't intend to do that… shushant adds that what was he told about the announcement and what announcement was made? Vasu replies that she asked her father to make the book annoucement in the morning, but he deined, but he must have changed his mind the last minute, and her dad isn't wrong if he (shushant) misunderstood that the announcement is for their engagement… the other side, rai apologizes and says that he is wrong, he has given too much freedom to his reporters, and sometimes they don't realise their limits.. Sinha yells at says - only sorry? And asks him to burry the report immediately.. Rai asks him to not worry, and asks him to enjoy the party, and he will take care of it… shushant tells Vasu that he has lived his life on principles, but rai keeps making him look bad.. Vasu argues that its not the case… and asks him to be assured on his dreams… Sinha asks rai to take care of shushant and to remove him out of the way, as he is just a reporter, many reporters come and go… rai replies that there will be no need to do this… as he'll take care of it…Sinha says ok… he adds smilingly that he has earned a lot because of him, and he is here, only b/c of his.. Rai says that no one will know this better than him.. And it's a part of the game, sometimes, he helped them, and sometimes they helped him.. Politics and media have to help each other out… that is their relationship.. Vasu argues with shushant that their relationship is not soo weak that they need to keep fighting and giving explanations about this to one and other… shushant says that its not like that.. Her dad doesn't care about this.. He doesn't care about their love or relationship… vasu says that there is nothing more important to her dad than her happiness.. Sinha tells rai that he (rai) knows what is happiness is , and he (Sinha) too knows whats vasu's happiness.. And now rai need to make the decision.. Shushant tells vasu that the decision has already been made.. And he fears that they will have to be separated soon.. Vasu says that no it wont happen, dad will say yes, and he should go and asks for her hand.. Sinha tells rai that sometimes they have to make such decisions, which changes their lives.. Rai asks him to wait for a while.. Sinha says that he will give him a day's time.. Otherwise he will open those pages of rai's life which are not even in vasu's book…

Sinha comes out of the room with Rai… Shushant and Vasu stand there.. Sinha looks at shushant sternly.. Shushant looks back angrily… (Virrudh title song in the back ground) Vasu greets Sinha.. Sinha blesses her and tells her that the book might be really good and asks her to send him a copy.. Vasu says that she will… Sinha gives a cold stare to shushant and leaves.. Rai signals shushant to come in, vasu thinks that its for her.. Rai signals her to stop and points towards shushant.. Shushant goes in.. Vasu gets worried.. Rai shuts the door of the study room.. Vasu looks on thru the window…

Preview: Rai tells Sinha that shushant will be taken care of.. Some guys beat up Shushant, Vasu finds out that her dad is behind this… she tells her that he could have just told her that he doesn't like shushant, she would have turned back.. Vasu reaches the hospitall we see shushant's mom (apara Mehta) there taunting vasu that finally she gets time to see shushant… we next see a guy sitting on the terrace saying that first vedant will go, and then the rest…
