JODHA Let me begin with my favorite -the guiltless, virginal Jodha who has always provided me with the loudest laughs.Jodha Begum, who can knock down the mightiest (look at our poor Jalal) with her whiplashes of chaste Hindi(Stree ki Laalsa being the epitome)is still a pre-school toddler when it comes to the School of Love,Emotions and Desires.Her literal stand-up comedy act of the week was standing up promptly,gleefully to sit next to the Shahenshah as if on cue.And this shortly after a hate lecture from both sides and the emotionally fatal night before.Does she suffer from short term amnesia ?

MR.RAMTANU PANDEY JI He bags the award for the best comedy artist of the week-undoubtedly,deservedly and unanimously.His comic skills have been widely appreciated compared to his singing ones .But the act which knocked me off with a feather was Pandeyji telling Jodha after her faultless rendition of Aarti-"Aapko sur aur taal ka abhyaas karna chahiye"😉 Pandeyji, the only time you sounded sureela was in duet with Jodha, thanks to her sureela raags covering your besura ones.

JALAL -JODHA BICKERINGS Jalal and Jodha squabbling like schools kids

JA: You get out my room.How dare you enter without permission😡😡

JO: Permission!!!! OK!!"Can I come in ma'am err Sir?" now you stop me 😡

JA: Get out of this Jashn right now .Now tell me ,who's the real boss?😈

JO: I don't want your stupid Kangan😲😡

JA: ( Snatching the box)Thank you, my pleasure😈

JO: CHI !!! 😭😭😡

JA: See, I gave a kaneez your dress😛

JO: Who cares, it's my Uttaran! anyways, my gift to Tansen was the bestest😛😛

MYSTERY OF THE VEILED CAGE I pity the innocent viewers who had no inkling of what lay behind the curtain.How they must have reacted when the curtain lifted is a mystery in itself.

RUQQAIYA "Hamaari jagah humse koi nahi cheen sakta". I have finally fathomed why Ruqqaiya is so smug and confident of this fact .Because her favourite JAGAH is wherever the Recliner is . Be it her chamber or be it the terrace nobody can snatch her recliner from her.Notice how stiffly she sat next to Jalal.She was missing her recliner .😉

P.S. In case Rajat's eye, mind and soul riveting performance made you miss it, the moon was STILL WONDERFULLY ROUND on the emotionally fatal night.I have fathomed the reason for this one too.Till our darling Jodha performs the Herculean task of falling in love with Jalal , the Earth will stand still. No rotations, no revolutions and no changing faces of the moon.😆😆

Well put...the poor Brits had to go for the sun never sets...as the moon was already taken...oh these celestial wars!

Jalaluddin really needs to take designing lessons...his clothing ideas were so obtuse that his tailor ...poor guy...struggling with interpretation...ended up with so little fabric...

🤣 Liz, was actually planning to mention the exaggerated nasal twang of the hand maiden. Good that you reminded us of it.But the peacock was at least better than the raging Elephant that Jalal tried to tame. He looked like a cross between an elephant and a buffalo.😆
