We need some tropes and props in the language of cinema or television to aid or enhance storytelling or as a plot point or device to tie-in the story.
Ek Boond Ishq has some unique ones. Today, we want to highlight on the tale of the RED BANDANA. It has a story to tell, all in itself.
The Red Bandana is famous in quite a few lore to represent a culture, community or creed. It originated in Hindi to mean "to tie." Bandanas arose in popularity in the Old Wild West as a method of keeping sweat and dust from the face. However, these days they are known to indicate a subculture on their own, like in gang members, criminals, thugs, rock music or heavy metal fans, bikers, or even new age artistes.
The Red Bandana was associated with a US gang called the "Bloods" and the Mexican gang called, Norteos.
There is even a movement in the United States that is called as the "Fellowship of the Red Bandana" that is an offspring of the valiant efforts of a mysterious young man in a red bandana who rescued lives in the South Tower of the infamous 9/11 WTC meltdown.

It was used as an accessory to conceal her identity at times. Even Johnny Depp is famous for tying the Red Bandana on his head in several movies as well as in real life.

In Ek Boond Ishq, the red bandana is acting as a lifeline for Mrityunjay and is seeming to be "tie-in" that binds the relationship between him and Tara. It seems to be the "one" thing that seems to entwine their fates, come rain, heat, sun, dust, or stains.
