Okay, yes yes, so now we must all support her because YOU saw something in her 😆
Beautiful post, I wish i could post but I cant due to restrictions. Do you mind posting one on my behalf in your thread?
Im neutral towards Gauhar just like few other contestants Ive yet to find a favourite since past few seasons. But I can tell you this without doubt that she lost a few fans along with Kushal in this week because she came across shallow, a bit hypocrite and somebody who too has holes in them. This has been a bad week for Gauhar.
I'll make this as brief as possible - pakka promise!
Gauhar Khan happens to be the first BB contestant that I have voted for. I voted for her once after the drama with Salman and I shall vote for her once again tonight. This is a big thing for me because I have never done this before. So I wondered why...I first thought Tanisha would be my favorite but she failed mainly due to her snobbish outlook concerning others. I would rather tolerate Arman's misbehavior than Tanisha looking down upon others. So her remarks such as "small minded," "insecure," and "incapable of understanding English humor" hurled at others trashed her image for eternity as far as I am concerned unless she amends her opinion and apologizes on a public forum. After losing hope in Tanisha, I thought it could be Elliefor a very brief period. Ellie is one of those fine contestants that I can appreciate but not remember.I had seen Nigar Khan a couple of times on TV but had not even heard of Gauhar before seeing her on the show. So whatever image of hers has been etched in my mind is based solely on her performance in the show (I acknowledge that I have missed episodes so I might be unaware of certain things).-ves:Gauhar is not as fair as she perceives herself. True but that could be the case with anyone of us. My self image could be turned upside down by an external observer.Gauhar lies. Every other contestant has lied on the show. And most of the time it's a matter of misinterpretation. I can bet if I tell you something, it won't reach the other person with the exact same meaning if you were to convey my message. We see this in the media all the time. The biggest one: Gauhar shouldn't have returned to the show. I completely disagree. The moment she walked out of the show, she had taken all the risks involved.Outside, she was convinced that the penalty is much bigger than what it takes to avoid it. So she returned. Like a news reporter said: "50 Lakhs could be Salman's pocket money but a big amount for someone like Gauhar." And to be honest, it was a win-win situation for Gauhar anyway because she had convinced BB creatives to send back Kushal.Gauhar is not very sensible. Agreed. There has been cases such as the incident with Leone's male lead where I thought she could have been more sensible. But then I am yet to see any contestant's sensible side on the show. If not more, Gauhar is as sensible as herco contestantsat least.Gauhar is very impulsive and emotional. I agree. She needs to work on this immediately.Gauhar sometimes goes overboard with her anger, irritation, and emotional outburst. Yes, Yes. You need to change that, girl.+vesShe is loyal. She was loyal to Andy and Sangram until she started believing that they don't take her as one of their close friends. Other than these two, it's Kushal and she has been loyal to him. There was a phase when she got along with Kamya and kept her loyalty then too. I personally think that she has never been blindly loyal to anyone though. It could be due to experience but she's quite sensible when it comes to her relationship with a guy. Watching her with Kushal, I think she's neither dominating him nor subordinated by him. She's courageous. Salman has painted a very bad picture of Gauhar. He has convinced her that the public sees her in a negative light but she couldn't care any less. She is what she is. And do I need to mention that her confrontation with Salman was the highlight for me? No one has been so upfront with Salman (actually maybe I should acknowledge Aijaz too!). I sincerely appreciate the fact that she gives a helping hand to Tanisha despite their rivalry. She did it twice and it's a big thing.I was a bit confused about my choice when I read some criticisms of Gauhar but when Apoorva, the most sensible and worthy of respect contestant, explicitly supported Gauhar, I knew I was on the right track. I trust Apoorva's opinion the most because he was actually fair without any self-proclamation. And then came Sania Mirza. I took interest in tennis after I saw her play. She comes across as a very level-headed, confident woman. So she sealed my opinion when she supported Gauhar despite the fact that Salman just had the most ugly confrontation with her and Sania was there as his guest. When the sporty woman supported the feistywoman, I knew there was something to it!Now to tell you something very honest... Being a relatively conservative Muslim, I have many differences with Gauhar Khan. I disapprove of her profession, general outlook towards life, religious views, etc. I was actually taken aback when she entered the house with an inappropriate outfit (by my standards) and would chant religious verses like "alhamdulilah." Back then I would compare her to the Pakistani actress who had also been on BB - still can't stand that woman. So if this woman has garnered my support despite my initial dislike for her, she must have something in her.I may have my differences on so many different fronts with you Gauhar Khan, but I respect you as a woman and for that I shall support you too.

Loved your post!!
All the contestants have their +ves and -ves, just like everyone, but I think Gauhar has comparatively more +ves!
She is always ready to give a helping hand or shoulder to cry on no matter who the person or what her equation with the person is!
Shilpa was majorly responsible for her moving to jahanum but when she had a melt down because of apu's hair cut she was the one who ran to comfort her
Andy fell unconscious in the restroom after the box task, even though he was the one who made fun of Gauhar's fainting with tanisha she ran to help him! Tanisha was on the other hand was sitting and petting heaven saying to Gauhar get water for him add lemon etc etc while just sitting there and doing nothing!
Today like many times she helped tanisha, where as tanisha got down as if she is the queen of some place and her servant is helping her
Gauhar has always worked hard which is worth praising and appreciating whether it is cooking or cleaning or doing her duties while doing tasks!
I wish she would win but I'm 100% sure she will not considering salman would never let that happen! Salman and arman are very much alike, I'm not talking abt bad temper or not very cunning or being partial to the background of a person but they both are a bit conservative and have a typical image of a women they consider to be respectable, and sadly a strong independent and outspoken doesnot fall in that category! Tanisha yes she comes from a bw family background and doesn't mind being treated as a doormat! But I don't think even she will win considering every one can see the undue advantage and benefits she is being given!
I think the winner will be Andy or sangram since these two would fulfil Salmans ego as well as keep bb in business.
