Shlok is simply trying to torment Astha by confusing her - being extra mean but at the same time trying to be so nice. There is no love from his side at all. He has a clear plan as to what he wants to do with her.

Poor Astha. The last thing left for her to do is to pick up a rose & tear the petals to decide whether he loves her or not. Until unless she gets a hold of her emotions & throws away that ray of hope that Shlok would return to being the good guy, she is not going to be able to free herself from this relationship & emerge strong. Seems like the HM is going to be the death of the Astha that fell for Shlok. All the romance is going to be buried in that pit where Astha gets stuck. Hopefully once she comes out of it, her brain cells get activated & she realises that she has married a psychopath who doesn't deserve her. Looking forward to Astha teaching the Agnihotris a lesson & walking out of the Agnihotri mansion with her head up high.

CVs - a BIG request. Please dare to be different & not have the leads end up together. It would truly be a great message if we see a mature & independent Astha emerging at the end. I don't see how anyone can wish for Shlok to be redeemed after all this that he's doing & is going to do.

True samridhi! Shlok is a villain for me right now. I would be fine with his character not being redeemed. let's see if this serial dares to be different,

I am starting to think this way too. I think Shlok is clear about what he wants to do with Astha. Just like Niranjan he cares about image so things start going wrong when Anjali interrupts or when Astha does something he dislikes in front of everyone.

now coming back to the topic..take it easy dear...I understand ur sentiments..bt r u saying this after watching tht SBB/SBS segments??..coz frm wat i can see I feel tht Astha fell in tht pit coz of tht Dog n Shlok was trying shoo tht dog away..tht laugh of his may not b frm actual scene..

I realy dnt think tht now CVs will show him any more darker than they already have...n if they do then there is no point in ending them up together ..Shlok shd be redeemable..

bt yes..I do agree tht Astha needs to throw tht ray of hope frm her heart..then only she can actually break Shlok's tight grip around her n can break him n his ego as well..

I want Shlok to go through immense pain before he actually becomes worthy of Astha..bt would love to see Ashlok only together...

awesome post sam. i agree, i was just saying it in another post. i will pot those views here too

we have seen how he planned the whole romance but how could he do it? because he was living through all the experiences he had with swati but this time, it was hatred instead of love he had felt back then.

But he is a man in his prime and astha is beautiful, loves him with all her heart and they shared very closed moments, so a part of him enjoyed her attention as well.

Now since she is so much against going to HM, he is angry at her again for not wanting to go with him and feels insulted.

Now first he checked that is she still attracted, then he will become friendly yet rude to show her he is serious and later when she is all set , again breaks her heart. now the thing is all these are logical things but what will happen when he actually goes through them?''

Lets hope aastha emerge as a much stronger women.

Prads, I am not saying this because of the segment. I think he's done far worse things than what he was doing in the segment. I am saying this based on all the episodes, specifically today's episode.

I would be extremely disappointed if Shlok is redeemed. The CVs would be sending out a very wrong message if they do that. He has gone beyond the point of redemption. It is very clear that this is NOT a love story so I feel that people should stop trying to find love in Shlok's actions. There's nothing wrong with enjoying their scenes. Shrenu & Avinash have very good chemistry. BUT seeing those scenes & trying to justify Shlok's actions or waiting for him to change, in my opinion, is quite unhealthy. Rather than waiting for him to change, we should wait for Astha to teach him a lesson & kick him out of her life.

I'm watching this show because i want to see a love story, not a tragedy. I want Shlok fall for Astha and be redeemed like in Astha's dreams. This is just a show, so it's possible. And i hope they will end up together.

but if wot was shown in SBS is true then find it difficult for Aastha to still love hm.

but in btwn heard Aastha saying that she would never say sorry to him. wondering wot that sorry was for???

I get that you want to watch a love story. But after all this do you really see a possibility of love happening between Shlok & Astha? I know this is a fictional show BUT it is fiction set in a backdrop of reality. So far with whatever that they've been showing to us its not just for story sake, there is a clear message they are trying to send out. And turning all this into a love story at the end is something I don't think they will dare to do especially after they've shown Shlok so dark. It would only emphasise regressive thinking which the CVs have been trying to mock. So if you really want to watch a love story, I don't think this is the right show. There is clearly no love between Shlok & Astha.
