I remember seeing one or two epis of Nimmo that too fleetingly...So I don't remember much...Same goes for Kavyanjali...I felt he had better chem with Anita, but once I saw SriJaz chem...everything went out the window...they just share such a crazily hot and sizzling chem..and the timing during their convos on screen just seems to flow and does not seem forced. It just is so very natural!If you know what I mean😃

PART 25

Raj's residence:

Divya stood by the French doors that led to the balcony of Raj's bedroom...No...Their bedroom. She gazed at the moon, shining brightly in the sky; and a small smile crept across her lips when she took in its beauty. She did not want to think about anything at the moment. All she wanted to do was just to take in the serene atmosphere and get immersed in the tranquility it presented. She wanted to feel at peace, which she did not experience for the past few days; even though her heart was feeling anything but.

She was lost in the magnificence of the night sky, the moon and the stars, which explained why she did not realize that Raj's mother and sisters had made their way into the room.

They tiptoed their way across the room; Munni and Bubbly were extra careful to not make any noise, before they broke the pleasant ambience with "Bhabhi!" near Divya's ears.

Divya was jerked out of her calm observations; and she turned around to notice that she was in the presence of the four beautiful ladies in Raj's life. She smiled instantly and she observed that she did not have to force it, as they were easy to like. Of course they were not perfect and neither was she; so who was she to judge, she scolded herself mentally; and she hoped that they accepted her with all her flaws; not because Raj loved her, but because she was SHE.

She was distracted from her musings when she heard the fag end of their excited chatter. And that was," We will get you to look beautiful for your Suhaag Raat, Bhabhi!"

This made Divya feel uneasy, because that was the last thing on her mind at present. There was a time, until a few days ago when she dreamt of the innumerable possibilities of her re-union with Raj; their wedding and her first night too, in the arms of the man who held her heart. The same heart which Raj didn't mind stomping all over, without a second thought, she recollected bitterly. She trusted her heart to be safe in his hands and it turned out that she was wrong; he broke that trust. But was she wrong to have placed the faith in a person whom she knew inside out for the past 12 years? She pondered.

The most important moment of their life which they should be cherishing right now, was the most unappealing one; because the union of body, mind and soul must be out of love, which was overcome by hurt and pain.

The issue at hand was how Raj and she will behave around each other from now on. Could she stand to live in her husband's presence, knowing what transpired the night before? She wondered. And thinking about it all, brought the feelings of hurt and anger back into her system and her eyes brimmed with tears.

She turned around at once, to hide it from them and they derived an altogether different meaning from it and started with their teasing, "Bhabhi, We know that you have been longing for this moment for the past 12 years. So, why are you feeling shy now, huh?" Babbly started.

"Just look at the way we are going to dress you up! Bhaiyya will be speechless looking at your beauty." Shiela assured, turning her around. That was when she noticed Divya's tear glistened eyes. Shiela was shocked to say the least and Divya immediately shook her head sideways and begged silently not to initiate any query in others' presence.

Shiela immediately understood her sister-in-law's unspoken plea and smiled reassuringly at her; and ushered her sisters and mother out, citing that she had to get Divya ready. She closed the door behind them and came back to place her hand on Divya's shoulder. Divya was not in a position to confide in anyone right now. She took a moment to compose herself and turned around to meet Sheila's eyes.

Divya expressed her gratitude saying, "Thank you so much, Sheila!" Her voice sounded wobbly.

Sheila enquired, "Are you alright, Bhabhi? What happened? Why are you looking upset?"

She took a deep breath before saying, "Sheila, I can't lie to you. So I hope you will understand when I say that I can't tell you anything right now."

"Oh, Bhabhi! I will not persuade you to open up to me right away; and the decision to do that or not is left entirely up to you. But I just want to assure you that you have a confidante in me, if at all you want to unburden your heart. I just hope you don't keep your feelings bottled up for too long." Sheila spoke in a mild assuring tone.

Divya nodded in return and placed her palm on Sheila's hand and said, "Thank you!" again.

Sheila smiled a little and asked, "Shall I get you something to eat, Bhabhi? You hardly had anything during dinner."

"No, I am fine, Sheila. I don't think I can swallow even a morsel of food right now." replied Divya, with a forced smile.

"I understand, Bhabhi." Sheila said. Divya nodded her head again saying, "I need to go and freshen up." And she proceeded towards the restroom.

Sheila heard the bathroom door close and a frown automatically etched her face. She stood there wondering what was troubling her Bhabhi and prayed to god for it to be resolved soon.

Munni and Bubbly were back in the room and they proceeded to decorate the bed with roses and lilies. They placed some fruits and milk on the side table, lit aromatic candles and turned off the lights before leaving the room.

Raj entered and locked the door behind him, the same time as Divya exited from the washroom. They took in the romantic setting around them and their eyes inadvertently found each others'; and they stood at opposite ends of the room gazing each other intently.
