I know, I am feeling very cheated and betrayed by the makers of the show. You are right about everything. As fans who have been following them from day one it sure pains us all a lot to see the great injustice done to a fantastic vision. Not just the story of two loving souls but also the subtle social messages that could have been given in this show. There were so many uncharted territories they could have explored. The issues concerning terrorism, like how it gets operated in India and that aam admi doesn't even know about it. Raghu didn't know what was going on when Aman handed him the gift box. And what about Rantara's singing career, they could have shown Raghu supporting her career endeavors, Also the fight between a don and his right hand man could have been another angle they might have explored. Raghu obviously going against Daya Mayi in subtle manner. That scene where he shows her the plans for the mall, that was epic. Sorry, sorry..going off the topic a bit...YOU ARE JUST AMAZINGLY CORRECT about how disappointing it is for fans and that US, FANS are merely reduced to think about idiotic plots and have been in this guessing game. They have not only reduced their quality but they have actually managed to reduce the quality of criticism/analysis that us fans used to come up with. Not speaking for everyone, it definitely has messed up my mind and rather than thinking outside of the box, I have been analyzing the show in an Ekta Kapoor fashion. Which, honestly I have gained a great respect for her in the past few days. Atleast she has guts to say yes I make saas bahu sagas...Nautanki on the other hand show themselves as a different production house, uber modern ph and 21st century ph which clearly they are not. They reduced do dil to a half-baked saas bahu saga. The scene with the handkerchief between DM and Rantara made me so sick. Actually I didn't even see the whole thing. The minute she threw those rumals on her face I shut off my TV. But, yeah, I feel like with the crap that was thrown towards us have definitely effected me. I guess its time to clean myself with some good plays and good books. I guess they just take audience for granted. They really don't think much of the audience especially in the area of intelligence. I am sure all the channels/tv shows must read up on statistics/research, not talking about trps, where they get to know what type of content audience want on TV. I guess, maybe the Indian audience do want the saas-bahu type shows. Maybe after all these years India is still not ready to move on to a different content. Well, lets hope for the best for Niyaz. Makers of the show had made a terrible mistake. For them I am sure its just another show.
