Again from purely my eyes ... I saw the Chunri differently ...

Fact - He does not believe in any carp like this ... The Chunri ... La say throw it on my head coz ... He had not heard Khushi's beliefs about the Chunri, but knows what she is trying to do ... Is supremely disdainful, angry, throws it on her head ... Knows it will fall on her head and the superstition/ symbolism she is trying to get him indulge in will fall flat on its face, proving him to be correct. He is already unsettled about this nebulous clairvoyance ... Thows the Chunri ... It falls on Khushi ... To me, I did not see him as saying ... Oh my god there is a higher force trying to tell me something ... I saw it as another unsettling moment ... Totally agree he Sees his Dhulan, that is why he is so pissed about her dressing La and presenting her as one ... He does not see it as a sign ... Or any such thing ... But just heightens for him what he is feeling ... What he does not understand ... Puts him on edge ...

The only moment he addresses these strange things is during the second marriage ... The roak, haldi , mehendi , Hum kit nay ajeeb hai ...

I think we are beating a dead horse ... I totally get yours Bidz's and ArshiH's point ...

Oh my dear, your take is not at all on wobbly legs. But I did not get that chunari thing, will come back to read again.

But I hate to have said that...that. they both didn't feel any symbolism... As dry as it can get ..not reading the deep intent ... But I do believe that is the case!
Me, who NEVER watched any daily soap, not onto any symbolism, totally couldn't escape the symbolism seeping in every frame first 8/9 months. It is there but how we perceived it is different.

Will be back to read and add about that chunari.

Lovely writeup Faiqa and Ipoona

what i liked in this episode was the fact that inspite of ASR and Shyams mastery
in manipulating other persons emotions...they both were played down by DM.
infact they both were pawns in this game of owning Khushi
Arnav using harsh words to keep himself away from Khushi
and Shyams sweet words to bring Khushi in his life forever.
But destiny had something else for them
with the clock ticking 6:00 Arnav unknowingly promised to sooth all her pain
and the bond was written on the veins that belonged to their heart.
She was somewhat relieved that atleast the pain her love gave her is less than what Shyam wanted to give her by sliding ring on that paticular finger.

physically she was present at the so called forced and null /void ring ceremony
but her thoughts and feelings were with the man where she belonged.
though i somehow feel that it was also destinies plot to bring them together
that she got engaged to Shyam that day inspite of Garimas resistance and
her dad uttering Siyam repeatedly...atleast that made Arnav realise what effect his
"koi matlab nahi " had on her...she slapped the same sentence back on him when he asked her why didnt she tell him before about her engagement.

your explanation about "MARK" is beautiful.. but none of them can erase the marks already etched in their hearts...poor guy using tissue paper to remove them..more the mark gets stubborn..more agitated he becomes at his failure to keep himself away from thinking about her. His every attempt to conquer his thoughts about not letting this girl to sneak in makes him
see his defeat and ASR has not known the meaning of this word till now.

Thnx Zoombie🤗

Thnx and I loved underlined

In blue , yes she was just sensing the feeling which was cleared by Buaji next morning...vein that directs to heart and that is a cue for her , and she is thinking about this but still couldn't connect it , later she gets it when on her Roca Arnav starts reminding her by loking at the ring and the ceremony and it hits him , we did this kind of thing before and he kept reminding her all the symbolical ritual they performed before through which she realized it was meant to be destined...as she mentioned to Arnav "Bhagaya" and you have no control over it which seeps in her and she submits herself before the marriage to her man after seeing that "Bharosa" a complete TRUST ...

In Pink...She is a child with a wise brain...and a woman's intuition as she triggered this in her head this alarm who is right and who is wrong.A man who humiliates her , degrades her, and does every possible stuff yet her heart beats for that man why? Because she also saw that the very same man, is her protector [In Nainital from goons, or Guest House , his hand on her in hospitaletc], her family protector [Hosptal Bill]...He is her Shaitan and Rajkumar ...she will get it later but it is setting down here somewhere.SHYAM also mentions this later...Kyuon uss a choona aapko bura nahin lagta...jo aapko sab se ziyada dukh daita hai...and her answer made me PROUD of her...kya aapko sach main nahin pata...She loves this arrogant man period...

In purple..They both got marked in Guest House...by the very same bangle...now he is marking her his as you said unknowingly, yet it was the destiny but he is throwing her out of his life again ..yet bringing her closer each time...pure FATE as DM is the witness for her fav kids...one is her devotee and the other is stubborn yet internally have no problem with it...just have a hard time showing it.

Each time he snatches her away , the mark gets deeper till she completely marked him in such a way he couldn't let go of her and marries her..."Itna tou majboor kar diya hai keh aapko hum se shaadi karna padi.." She knows there is a reason for him marking her as his and wants to know yet he with the fear of losing her doesn't tell her...MARK IS REALLY DEEP...

Once again Thnx

@ Faiqa
i also want to add one more thing here
in their divine talk while Arnav was kidnapped
they both admitted how Arnav tried hard to hate her
and Khushi tried not to fall in love with him.
this was the time when both thought they could control their heart.
but as you said Marks were already etched
and their ego wanted them to be a victor while making the other victim.
none of the two wanted to admit the feelings
but yes both of them wanted to hurt other by emerging out strong
but again they both failed and never remained true to their words

Zoombie 😊

That divine telepathy chat has so much in it...

itni koshish ki tum se nafrat karne ki...that stands for itself...he got defeated in his path of hate...and her

hum ne CHAA KAR...bhi...apne dil ko ...why the hell she is using the word...CHAA KAR...as her complete acknowledgement for her man comes when DI tells her the reason why did he left for London and later ...aap aise kyuon hain...when he tells her his mom's suicide ...

These are connected together and as you mentioned in blue ...that was the thing, he was doing this to throw her out of his life and she was confused why the hell he is like this but her Dil is beating because of acidity😆.her excuse of not accepting the fact..no wonder why she always called him with a name that was her love for her man and he does accept it openly and graciously...Laad Governor.

Their ego seized down when he gives her her dream...pearl necklace...and that day they both embraced each other with this oath that their love will be first and then ego...but till then we have lovely ride to enjoy

this scene is my favourite of favourites scene.
loved every bit of it
he started humbly by giving her simple things she cherish in her everyday life
but when he returned her the dignity ...the pearl necklace
which she always wanted in their relationship.
he made his woman complete and Arnav knew since long
what she actually desired in their relationship...
yes you are right that moment the oath converted their ego to respect for each other.
ofcourse the ride is still beautiful
it has not ended for many of us fans here.
its a different story that we can sit from any station we like now 😉
