Well what arjun said was that before rainy season king ploughs the field for farmers or does the intial bit of ploughing becuase while doing this several small animals are killed hence the sin of killing these animals is on the king due to which king also goes to hell for sometime. Then arjun asks him why cant the farmer do this on his own to which dhridhrashtra says that if the farmer stops ploughing the fields becuase of the fear of going to hell then who will feed people food .Then dhridhrashtra was about to say that king has to keep intrests if his people before his and that is when he realized that by asking Yudi to back out he is putting his own intrests before the intrests on his people.
Bold part-exactly you are right.By ploughing the field the king takes the sins on himself rather than passing it to the farmerOriginally posted by: rakshaanra
I wish we had a smiley for namaste! Thanks
How does this relate to the king. Does it mean that he don't wanna get sins pass the buck to someone's else
I just wanna know how it relate to Dhrtrastra
\\In this way arjuna taunted his taatshri by reminding him that he will not be a king doing his dharma when he is making others do the duty that he doesnt want to do but has to be done in order to maintain his title of a dutyful king who thinks about others before himself .. Even if that is not the case :/

Dhridh asked yudi to back out so that he doesnt have to fight and kill his son .Killing his son will mean that he will go to hell since a son is supposed to cremeate their father.hence Dhridh is escaping going to hell by asking yudi to back out which a king isnt supposed to do he should follow his dharam even if it takes him to hell just like in ploughing the field thing king goes to hell for the sake of his farmers
