If Zee can burn a set worth Rs 9 lakh for Betiyann, can Ekta Kapoor be far behind? For the one-and-a-half hour long special episode shot recently, Ekta burnt a set worth Rs 10 lakh. The episode, to be aired today, will see the lead pair Panchi Bora aka Praachi and Jai Bhanushali aka Neev in Kayamath caught in a fire. It is one of the vital scenes of the special episode, meant to bring in the much needed punch to Kayamath, which is not doing well, compared to other Balaji serials.

Informs Nivedita Basu, creative head of Balaji, "Two huge sets have been created for the scene. We have been working hard for the mega episode and the fire sequence happens to be a crucial scene, which will give a new twist to the story. We are keeping our fingers crossed about the response."
